Turn a photo of a price tag, menu, or spec sheet into clean structured data. Image→data, not web-scraping — works on physical labels and PDFs.
What it does
- OCRs the image with a vision model (your FAL key).
- Slices out the exact fields you name:
item,price,currency,dish,spec,value, etc. - Returns the full OCR text + the mapped fields.
Input
| Field | Type | Notes |
|---|---|---|
image_url | string | Required. Public http(s) URL to the image. |
fields | array[string] | Required. Field names to extract. |
fal_key | string | Required. Your own FAL key. Never stored or billed by us. |
Example
{ "image_url": "https://x.com/menu.jpg", "fields": ["item", "price", "currency"], "fal_key": "YOUR_FAL_KEY" }
Why this actor
It's vision pipeline, not a scraper — so it works on photos of physical objects where there's no webpage to crawl. Defensible and broadly applicable (retail, inventory, archival digitization).
Pricing
Pay per image — $0.10.
