For multiple companies, use queries, for example ["crunchbase", "stripe"]. The list replaces query when supplied. A CB Insights company URL selects that company directly.
For company, competitor and analyst modes, max selects how many companies to process from each name search, from 1 to 5. Search mode returns the source's matching suggestions. maxResults limits real output records across the run.
Company and analyst records retain their nested sections. Available fields vary by company; missing or restricted source values remain as provided. Analyst mode can return no record when the public page has no insights.

If source access is blocked, retry later or select another proxy. Include your run URL and the affected company when requesting support.
Unsuccessful lookups
Where listed in the Pricing tab, a handled lookup problem that prevents a run from returning any real results produces one clear error record and a single $0.02 unsuccessful-lookup fee, in addition to any listed start fee.
Pricing
Each valid pay-per-event run with at least one input includes a minimum charge of 100 result units, shared across all inputs in that run. Any placeholder rows are clearly marked and contain no scraped data; filter them out when exporting. Each separate run has its own minimum, including scheduled or API runs. Platform usage is included.
