Search published procurement notices from Tenders Electronic Daily, the official EU public-procurement portal. Filter by opportunity keywords, contracting authority, buyer country, CPV classification, or publication date and export buyers, deadlines, estimated values, descriptions, and official document links.
No API key, login, browser automation, or website scraping is required.
What data can I extract?
- Official TED publication number, notice title, lot titles, and descriptions
- Contracting authority names, countries, cities, postal codes, websites, and emails
- Publication and tender deadline dates
- Main and additional CPV classification codes
- Countries and cities where the contract will be performed
- Estimated procedure and lot values with currencies
- Notice, procedure, contract-nature, legal-basis, and language codes
- Direct TED detail, XML, PDF, and HTML links
Each dataset row represents one published TED notice.
Input example
{"keywords": "software","buyer_country": "DEU","publication_date_from": "2026-09-01","language": "eng","sort_direction": "desc","max_items": 10}
Country codes use ISO alpha-3 form and CPV codes contain eight digits. At least one search filter is required.
Output example
{"publication_number": "630118-2026","title": "Poland - Security software package - EDR and SOC systems","lot_titles": "EDR system | Managed SOC and SIEM service","buyer_names": "Szpital Wojewodzki w Poznaniu","buyer_countries": "POL","publication_date": "2026-09-14","cpv_codes": "48730000","estimated_value": 400000.0,"currency": "EUR","notice_type": "can-standard","procedure_type": "open","notice_url": "https://ted.europa.eu/en/notice/-/detail/630118-2026","total_matches": 1752,"timed_out": false}
Common use cases
- European sales and bid-opportunity discovery
- Government-contract lead generation
- Procurement deadline and buyer monitoring
- CPV category and country market analysis
- Competitive intelligence and tender newsletters
- AI-assisted bid qualification and summarization
Use with AI agents and MCP
The Actor turns TED's expert-search response into stable, flat records. An agent can discover current tenders, filter them by market and CPV category, summarize requirements, rank deadlines, or route official documents to a downstream bid workflow.
Pricing and cost control
Output is billed per result at $0.003 per result (about $3.00 per 1,000 results), plus a $0.0005 Actor-start charge billed once per gigabyte of memory at run start. Use max_items to cap both output volume and charges. The price shown on the Apify Store listing is authoritative.
Reliability
The Actor calls TED's official unauthenticated Search API, retries temporary failures, rejects malformed and timed-out searches, limits each page to the documented maximum, and emits the same 33 fields for every notice. It never silently treats a partial timeout as complete data.
Limitations and responsible use
- TED controls source completeness, translations, corrections, and publication timing.
- Many fields are optional and vary by notice form and procurement stage.
- Estimated values are not final contract awards unless the source notice says so.
- CPV and country filters use official codes; invalid codes are rejected by TED.
- A search result is not a recommendation to bid. Confirm requirements and deadlines in the linked official notice.
Turn this into a procurement monitor
- Save one focused Task per CPV category, buyer, country, or market segment.
- Schedule the Task daily or weekly so new notices enter a predictable review cadence.
- Add an
ACTOR.RUN.SUCCEEDEDTask webhook or integration and passresource.defaultDatasetIdinto a CRM, bid-triage, notification, or downstream analysis workflow.

FAQ
What is TED?
Tenders Electronic Daily is the online version of the Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union dedicated to public procurement.
Do I need a TED API key?
No. TED's published-notice Search API is openly accessible without authentication.
Which country code format should I use?
Use a three-letter ISO code such as DEU, FRA, POL, ESP, or ITA.
Can I search by procurement category?
Yes. Enter the eight-digit Common Procurement Vocabulary code in cpv_code.
Why are some values or deadlines empty?
Different notice types publish different fields, and a notice can contain values or deadlines only at lot level.
