JobPosting Expiry Monitor

Scheduled runs track public JobPosting expiry and required-field drift.

Run this Actor on an Apify Schedule when you need a lightweight record of how public job listings changed since the previous run. It reuses JobPosting Consistency Preflight, stores a compact latest-only baseline snapshot, and reports drift findings on later runs.

What it checks

• public job detail page reachability
• validThrough value changes
• newly expired postings
• postings that become close to validThrough
• newly failing required JobPosting fields
• resolved required-field and expiry findings
• newly observed job items
• removed job items

Inputs

Provide one or more of:

• jobUrls: public job detail page URLs
• sitemapUrl: a public sitemap containing job detail pages
• feedCsvUrl: a public CSV with a job URL column such as jobUrl, url, link, or job_url

Optional:

• sampleLimit: 1 to 200, default 25
• stateStoreName: named Apify key-value store for previous snapshots
• expiryWarningDays: days before validThrough to mark a job as expiring soon, default 14

Output

The Actor writes:

• REPORT.json
• REPORT.html
• REPORT.md
• dataset rows for preflight and drift findings
• a compact latest-only snapshot in the configured key-value store

State and privacy

State keys store only a hash of the submitted input URL set and a safe subject key. Raw URL query strings are not stored in state keys. Snapshot values store redacted source URLs, compact observed fields, and the latest checked timestamp only.

Billing note

Pay-per-event billing is based on reachable job pages only. Unreachable pages are reported as findings, but they are not counted as checked job pages.

Boundaries

This monitor records drift detected in the current run. It does not promise notifications, threshold alerts, complete detection of every change, Search appearance, ranking, indexing, eligibility, hiring compliance, or any platform decision.
