FAQ

Do I need an Apple API key? No. iTunes Search and Lookup are public HTTP APIs.

Reviews? Yes. Set includeReviews: true. Reviews come from Apple’s public customer-reviews RSS feed, which exposes up to about 500 reviews (10 pages of 50) per app per country. For more history, run several storefronts (country). Reviewer names and profile links are not collected.

Why are some apps returning 0 reviews? Apple’s feed only lists written reviews for that storefront. Some apps (including several of Apple’s own) have none in a given country.
