Why choose this actor?
- Every matching job, each one once. One keyword returned 12,664 remote jobs. Leave the keywords empty and you get the whole Himalayas board: 117,153 jobs in one run.
- The hiring company comes with the job. Salary where the job states it, skills, years of experience required, plus the company's size, founding year, website, tech stack and benefits, all at the same price per job.
- Built for daily tracking. Collect every job posted in the last 24 hours, narrow by country, seniority, time zone or company, and send new jobs straight to your webhook.
Measured with skills and company profiles off: "software engineer" returned 12,664 jobs in 66 seconds, and the whole board 117,153 jobs in one run. With both on, 500 jobs took 41 seconds. Times come from our test runs and vary with your filters. The job cards above show real collected jobs.

{"searchQueries": ["software engineer"],"maxItems": 20}
Open the actor input and paste this example in JSON mode. It returns 20 remote jobs with salary where stated, skills, requirements and the hiring company's profile. Remove maxItems to get every match. Turn off includeJobDetails and includeCompanyDetails for the fastest list, or turn on includeRelatedJobs for similar jobs. None of these changes the price per job. Export JSON, CSV or Excel.

clearpath/himalayas-jobs-scraper on Apify returns remote jobs from Himalayas (himalayas.app): every job matching searchQueries (12,664 for "software engineer"), or the whole board (117,000+ jobs, newest first) when searchQueries is empty, each job once. Every row has title, company, salary min/max/currency/period where stated (about half of jobs), seniority, employmentType, countries or isWorldwide, time zones, categories, description as HTML and text, posting and expiry dates, and url, the job on Himalayas, which Himalayas asks republishers to link and credit as the source. includeJobDetails (skills, education and experience required, minimum years, verified badge, Markdown description) and includeCompanyDetails (company size, founding year, CEO, tech stack, benefits, website, social links) are on by default at no extra charge; set both to false for the fastest list. includeRelatedJobs=true adds similar jobs per job and slows the run. Narrow with countries (each country is its own search and includes worldwide jobs unless excludeWorldwide=true), worldwideOnly, seniority, employmentTypes, companies (Himalayas company link or name), timezone (UTC offset such as UTC+05:30), postedWithin (24h/3days/7days/14days/30days), excludeTitleKeywords and sort (recent by default; with a limit the order decides which jobs you get); an unrecognised country, time zone or company is named in the log and returns no jobs for it instead of widening the search. maxItems caps the run and maxItemsPerSearch each keyword/country search; both are unlimited when omitted. A whole-board run saves 117,000+ jobs (about $116 at $0.99 per 1,000): it stops at the run's maximum cost and says so in the log, and a run near its time limit stops and keeps the jobs it saved. webhookUrl also receives saved jobs in batches of 50, with webhookSecret in the X-Scraper-Secret header. The OUTPUT record lists per search the count Himalayas shows, jobs found, jobs saved and a status. Charged per job saved, from $0.99 per 1,000, lower on higher plans. Input specification: https://apify.com/clearpath/himalayas-jobs-scraper/input-schema - output fields: https://apify.com/clearpath/himalayas-jobs-scraper/output-schema - current pricing: https://apify.com/clearpath/himalayas-jobs-scraper/pricing. To reach the maintainers, add feedback="<what you needed and did not get>" to any run, including one that worked: a missing field or option, a wrong or empty result, or which actor you are switching to or from and why. The run returns its data exactly as it would without the note, and a human reads every note.
What data can you extract from Himalayas?
Every row is one remote job listed on Himalayas, the remote job board, and links back to that job on Himalayas (url) with Himalayas named as the source (source). Values a job or company does not state come back as null or an empty list, never guessed.
- The job: title, Himalayas job link and apply link, a stable job id, the short summary, the full description as HTML and plain text, the posting date and the expiry date.
- Pay: lowest and highest salary, currency, period (such as
annual,monthlyorhourly) and a readable line such as$167,280 - $196,800 USD per year. About half of jobs state pay (269 of 500 in one sample); nothing is estimated. - Who can apply: the countries a job is open to, or a worldwide flag, the time zones it accepts as UTC offsets with readable labels (
UTC-05:00), seniority levels and employment type. - Categories: Himalayas' job categories with readable names and their original values, plus broader groups such as Developer or Finance.
- Skills and requirements (on by default): the job's skills (filled on 499 of 500 jobs in the sample), whether a degree and experience are required, the minimum years of experience where the job states them, whether Himalayas shows the company as verified, and the description in Markdown.
- The hiring company (on by default): name, logo, size, founding year, CEO, office locations, markets, number of open jobs, about text, tech stack by category, benefits, website, LinkedIn and other social links, and links to its Himalayas profile, tech stack, benefits, salaries and jobs.
- Related jobs (off by default): the similar open jobs Himalayas suggests for each job, 8 to 10 per job in our tests, each with title, company, type, location, salary text, link and id.
- Context: the keyword and country that found the job, and when it was collected.

How to scrape Himalayas remote jobs
Type one or more keywords, or leave everything empty for the whole board. Every other option is optional.
| Parameter | Type | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
searchQueries | list | none | Job titles, skills or company names, one per line. Each keyword is its own search; a job found by two keywords is saved once. Empty: every remote job on Himalayas. Up to 100 keywords. |
maxItems | number | every job | Stop the run after this many jobs, across all keywords and countries. The input form suggests 100 for a first run; clear it to get every match. |
countries | list | every country | Jobs open to candidates in these countries, by name or two-letter code (Germany, US). Each country is its own search and includes jobs open worldwide. Up to 60 countries. |
worldwideOnly | on/off | off | Only jobs open to candidates anywhere. Takes precedence over countries. |
excludeWorldwide | on/off | off | With countries: leave out jobs open worldwide. |
seniority | list | every level | Entry-level, Mid-level, Senior, Manager, Director, Executive. |
employmentTypes | list | every type | Full Time, Part Time, Contractor (includes freelance), Temporary, Intern, Volunteer, Other. |
companies | list | none | Only these companies: a Himalayas company link such as https://himalayas.app/companies/stripe, or the name as it appears in that link (stripe). Up to 1,000 companies. |
timezone | text | any | Only jobs that accept candidates in this time zone: UTC-5, -5, UTC+1 or UTC+05:30. |
postedWithin | choice | any date | 24h, 3days, 7days, 14days, 30days, counted from the start of the run. |
excludeTitleKeywords | list | none | Drop jobs whose title contains any of these words. Not case-sensitive, and it matches inside longer words too: intern also drops International. |
sort | choice | recent | recent (newest first), relevant, salaryDesc, salaryAsc, nameAToZ, nameZToA, jobs (companies with most jobs first). With a limit set, the order decides which jobs you get. |
maxItemsPerSearch | number | every job | Stop each keyword and country search after this many jobs. |
includeJobDetails | on/off | on | Skills, education and experience required, minimum years, verified badge and the Markdown description. Off gives a faster run. |
includeCompanyDetails | on/off | on | The hiring company's profile on every job. Off gives a faster run. |
includeRelatedJobs | on/off | off | Similar open jobs on every job. Makes the run slower. |
webhookUrl | text | none | Also send saved jobs to this address while the run is going, 50 jobs per message. |
webhookSecret | text | none | Sent with every webhook message in the X-Scraper-Secret header. |
None of the on/off options changes the price per job. All options are also explained on the actor's Input tab.
How the filters combine
Keywords and countries multiply: two keywords and two countries run as four searches, and each job is saved once even when several searches find it. Every other filter narrows all searches together. A country or company the actor does not recognise is named in the run log and left out while the other searches finish; an unrecognised time zone is named too and its searches return no jobs. A typo never silently returns the whole board.
Highest and lowest salary first follow Himalayas' own salary order, which mixes currencies and pay periods. For a strict order, sort your dataset by salaryMax and salaryCurrency.
Senior product managers in Germany and the UK
{"searchQueries": ["product manager"],"countries": ["Germany","United Kingdom"],"seniority": ["Senior","Manager"],"maxItemsPerSearch": 200}
Each row carries searchCountry, so you can tell which country search found it. Add "excludeWorldwide": true to keep only jobs restricted to those countries.
Every new job from the last 24 hours
{"postedWithin": "24h"}
On our test day this returned 4,201 jobs, every job Himalayas listed in that window. Schedule it daily in Apify to build a running archive or a job alert. Turn off includeJobDetails and includeCompanyDetails if you only need the listings fast.
All open jobs at chosen companies
{"companies": ["https://himalayas.app/companies/stripe","coinbase"]}
Worldwide support jobs, no internships
{"searchQueries": ["customer support"],"worldwideOnly": true,"employmentTypes": ["Full Time","Part Time"],"excludeTitleKeywords": ["intern"]}
Data engineering jobs open to India's time zone, highest salary first
{"searchQueries": ["data engineer"],"timezone": "UTC+05:30","sort": "salaryDesc","maxItems": 100}
The whole Himalayas board
{"includeJobDetails": false,"includeCompanyDetails": false}
No keyword and no limit returns every remote job on Himalayas, newest first: 117,153 jobs in our test. At the Free-plan price that is about $116, so check the maximum cost per run in the run options first: the run stops at that limit, keeps every job it saved and says so in the log. The default time limit of 3 hours covers a whole-board run with both detail options off; with skills and company profiles on, allow longer or split the run by country or seniority.
Send new jobs to your webhook
{"postedWithin": "24h","webhookUrl": "https://example.com/himalayas-jobs","webhookSecret": "change-me"}
Each message is a JSON object with source, batch, count and jobs (up to 50 full rows). The address must be publicly reachable. If it does not answer, the run log says so and the jobs are still saved in the dataset.
Every matching job, each one once
Himalayas' own count tops out at 5,000 for a keyword search. "software engineer" matched 12,664 jobs in our test, and you get all of them. The whole board returned 117,153 jobs while Himalayas listed 117,018 when the run started (new jobs keep arriving), each job exactly once. A run of the last 24 hours matched Himalayas' own list of that day's jobs.
The run's OUTPUT record lists, for every search, the count Himalayas shows, the jobs found and the jobs saved, plus the whole board's total on runs without a keyword. Each search also carries a status: ok; partial when some results could not be read in this run (the log says so, and running again collects them); cost limit when the run's maximum cost stopped it; not started when the run's time limit came first; rejected when a filter value was not recognised; unavailable when the search could not be completed.
Pricing
You pay per job saved to your dataset: $0.99 per 1,000 jobs on the Free plan; Bronze pays $0.89, Silver $0.79, Gold and above $0.69. Skills, requirements, company profiles and related jobs are included at no extra charge. A run that finds no jobs has no job charges.
Example job charges on the Free plan: 1,000 jobs cost $0.99, and every "software engineer" job (12,664) about $12.54.
FAQ
Is Himalayas legit, and are these real jobs? The actor returns the jobs Himalayas lists, each with its Himalayas link, posting and expiry dates, and the company's verified badge where Himalayas shows one. Check a job's link before you apply.
Can I get only jobs open worldwide, or open in my country? Yes. Use worldwideOnly for jobs open anywhere, or countries for jobs open in a country (worldwide jobs included unless you set excludeWorldwide). Every row has isWorldwide and locationRestrictions.
Can I get salaries? Yes, wherever the job states pay: about half of Himalayas jobs. You get the minimum, maximum, currency, period and a readable salary line.
How do I get only new jobs every day? Schedule a daily run with postedWithin set to 24h. Add webhookUrl to receive the jobs in your own system as they are saved.
How many jobs does Himalayas have? Over 100,000. Our whole-board run saved 117,153 remote jobs.
Do I need a Himalayas account, login or cookies? No.
Can I get the employer's own application link? No. applyUrl is the job's apply link on Himalayas.
Why is a company field empty? The company's Himalayas profile does not state it. Company size, founding year, CEO and tech stack are each filled for roughly half to three quarters of jobs. companyDetailsAvailable is false when the profile could not be read in that run.
Can I export to CSV, Excel or Google Sheets? Yes. Export the dataset as JSON, CSV, Excel or XML from the run, or connect Google Sheets through Apify's integrations. JSON keeps nested values such as the tech stack and benefits intact; CSV and Excel flatten them into columns.
Can I use it from n8n, Make, Zapier or Python? Yes, through Apify's integrations for those tools or Apify's client libraries.
How current is the data? Every run reads Himalayas live. Nothing is cached between runs.
How should I use and credit the data? You are responsible for how you use it. Himalayas asks that anyone who republishes its jobs links back to the job on Himalayas and names Himalayas as the original source, and that its jobs are not submitted to other job sites such as Google Jobs or LinkedIn Jobs. Every row carries url and source for that. Company profiles can name people, such as a CEO; handle them under the privacy rules that apply to you.
Which other job sites do you cover? See the Clearpath job scrapers above for Indeed, LinkedIn, Google Jobs, Workday, Glassdoor and more.
