Date Filter change caused unlimited run

Closed

TikTok Data Extractor had a change in filter for Date. In JSON the days scraped field changd from "ScrapeLastNDays" to " oldestPostDateUnified". I have a saved task running every morning at 2:00AM EST that used this filter. On 4/28 the run ran normally, however on 4/29 the day was dropped from my saved task yesterday and my nighlt run went from about $3-$4 to almost $170 before it timed out. I checked the Json Input from that day and "ScrapeLastNDays" was missing. When I added 1 day relative date filter, the field in JSON turned to "oldestPostDateUnified"

Hello! Yes, there was a change in the date filter on 4/25, as you can see from our changelog. We are very aware of users like yourself have scheduled task to run and we try to avoid breaking changes and pay attention to backwards compatibility. That's why your task didn't break on the 26!

I think that the mistake was in our user interface, caused by a change on your task (maybe you added/remove a profile?). Anyway, I've issued a refund on your behalf in prepaid usage for the amount of the run price, hope you will appreciate this.

I'll close the issue since you managed to work it out by yourself but feel free to ask more question if you want to.
