Pricing

Pay per event: $5 per 1,000 products ($0.005 each). ASINs that do not exist or are blocked are free.

Limitations

Volume: Amazon rate-limits one IP at roughly 1,000 requests (about 11% robot checks in our 1,093-ASIN test, then a sustained block). The Actor slows itself down on robot checks and never solves CAPTCHAs; for bulk jobs split work into runs of a few hundred ASINs. Residential proxies are not supported (they cost more than the price per product).

Price and seller are empty when Amazon shows no buy box (unavailable items). A robot check returns a free captcha row — the Actor never solves CAPTCHAs. Individual review texts (login-gated) and ZIP-specific delivery prices are not included.

FAQ

Do I need the Amazon API? No — this reads public product pages. Does it scrape customer reviews? It returns the star rating and review count. Individual review texts require login and are not included. Why is the price empty for some ASINs? Amazon shows no buy box when an item is unavailable; availability says so.
