What you get

  • Download links that play: videoUrl is the MP4 with sound in its best single-file quality (HD, else SD), videoSdUrl its smaller SD twin, audioUrl the audio track alone. Each comes with its size in bytes, its quality and codec.
  • Every quality as a real file: renditions lists every playable file: the MP4s with sound, each video-only quality Facebook streams (quality, width, height, codec, bitrate, frame rate) and the audio track, each with its own link and expiry. maxQuality names the highest one.
  • When the links expire: Facebook signs its file links; urlsExpireAt says when they stop working (a few days). Download before then, or run again for fresh links.
  • The video's facts: title, caption, page, length, plays, reactions (and each reaction type), comments, shares, date, size and orientation, Reel / Video / Live, hashtags, captions file and a plain-text transcript (free).
  • Every link form: reels, /videos/ links, watch/?v= links, share links (/share/v/, /share/r/), fb.watch links and bare video ids. The same video linked twice is one row, charged once.
  • Drop-in input: videoUrls (as apple_yang and memo23 name it), url and urls (easyapi, scrapepilot) and startUrls all work.

Audio is M4A (AAC in an MP4 file), as Facebook serves it: it plays everywhere, but it is not MP3. No copy of the video is stored: the links are Facebook's own files.

How to use it

  1. Paste video links, one per line (or bare video ids).
  2. Optional: Videos newer than / Videos older than (a date, or e.g. 30 days).
  3. Run. One row per video, in about 10-20 seconds for 50 links.

A link Facebook doesn't show logged out (deleted, private, age-gated) or a post without a video fails that input in the run's OUTPUT record and costs nothing; a page link is refused (Facebook Reels Scraper reads a page's reels).

Pricing

Pay per video in your dataset, nothing else: no start fee, transcripts and file sizes included.
