It turns public search results from Carsales.com.au into a spreadsheet-ready dataset: make, model, trim, year, price, whether the price is drive-away, odometer reading, fuel, transmission, body type, engine, seller type, state, Carsales' own price rating, and photos.

Pick a make and model, or paste a Carsales search link, then narrow by state, price, model year, odometer, body type, fuel, transmission, colour, seller type and condition. When you ask for more cars than one page holds, the Actor splits the search by model, state, year, colour and price band and merges the results without duplicates. Every returned car meets the bounds you set.

Any field a listing does not publish is left out of that record entirely, so you never see placeholder or made-up values. Seller phone numbers, descriptions and feature lists are not included.

💰 Pricing

This Actor uses Apify's pay-per-event pricing. You pay a small amount when a run starts and for each car returned, and the per-car price drops on higher Apify plans. In monitor mode only the new, changed and removed cars you receive are charged, never the unchanged ones. An empty or blocked run returns nothing and charges for no cars. There is no subscription.

🛠️ Tips and advanced options

• Start with maxItems around 25, then raise it together with maxSearchPages. Each result page holds about 25 to 30 cars.
• For a schedule, set a monitorName and run daily. The first run is the baseline; later runs return only what changed. A removed car is reported only after a run that read the whole search and stayed missing twice.
• Deal ratings compare cars inside the same run, so a wider search gives a better comparison. Cars with fewer than 5 similar cars get no rating rather than a guess.
• Dealer-only searches are filtered after reading, so ask for more cars than you need.

❓ FAQ

How many cars can I get from one search? Searches are split by model, state, model year, colour and price band, so a broad make search can return hundreds of cars. Very narrow filters may simply have fewer cars on offer. The run summary shows how many cars match on Carsales and how many were returned.

Can I paste my Carsales search link? Yes. Make, model, price, year and odometer settings in the link are converted. Settings that cannot be converted are listed in the run summary instead of being ignored silently.

Can it tell me when a car sold? No. The public page does not say whether a car sold or the advertisement ended, so it reports REMOVED_OR_SOLD when a car is no longer listed.

Is this affiliated with Carsales.com.au? No. This is an independent tool that collects publicly available listing information. Use it in line with applicable rules and the source website's terms.
