πŸ” What does this Actor do?

Get Domain Authority, spam score, linking root domains, and ranking keywords for every domain on your list, pulled straight from Moz.com. Add the strongest linking pages, a 60-day link gained and lost trend, a quality tier and your own score filters, and have it all ready for your spreadsheet or CRM. It uses Moz's own free tool, so no account or login is ever required, on your end or ours. Built for SEO agencies, outreach link builders, marketing data analysts, and brand managers who need Domain Authority on more than one site at a time.

Moz sometimes refuses automated requests. When that happens the affected domains are listed in the run summary with a clear message and you are never charged for them, so a busy day means a partial list, not a wasted bill. If Moz refuses every domain in a run, the run is marked as failed with a clear message instead of finishing empty, so you and your schedules can tell straight away that nothing came back.

πŸ’‘ Why use this Actor?

  • I am an outreach link builder checking Domain Authority in bulk to filter out low-quality directories and secure high-authority backlinks.
  • I am an SEO agency lead enriching a new prospect list with spam scores, linking root domains, and estimated monthly keywords before deciding who gets outreach budget.
  • I am a marketing data analyst comparing backlink strength and link growth across our top rivals.
  • I am a brand manager tracking whether our own site and competitors are gaining or losing Domain Authority over time.

✨ Tips or advanced options

  • Start small. Test with 5 to 10 domains first to confirm the data matches what you expect.
  • Read the run summary. If Moz refuses some domains, they are listed there and were not charged. Run just those again later.
  • Use the filters for outreach. Set a minimum Domain Authority and a maximum Spam Score to get a ready prospect list.
  • Track changes. Give your list a name, then put the Actor on a Schedule. Each run marks every site NEW, DA_UP, DA_DOWN, SPAM_CHANGE or UNCHANGED.

❓ FAQ, disclaimers, and support

Yes. This Actor reads publicly accessible data from moz.com's free tool, which needs no login. Use responsibly and in line with Moz's Terms of Service. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the data complies with applicable laws.

Why were some of my domains not returned?

Moz limits automated access to its free tool and may refuse some requests, especially on large lists. Refused domains are not retried endlessly and are never charged. They are listed in the run summary, so you can run them again later. If every domain in a run is refused, the run is marked as failed rather than succeeding with an empty dataset. Moz also has no data for some very new or small sites.

Does it return keywords, competitors or questions?

No. Moz's public page does not show those, and this Actor never uses a login. You get the public scores, top pages, top linking websites and 60-day link history.

Will this break if Moz changes their site?

Possibly. moz.com is a live product and may change its page layout. If results start coming back empty after a Moz update, please report it on the Issues tab.
