Google Lens Scraper

Reverse image search via Google Lens. Submit any public image URL and get back the pages where that image (or a visually similar one) appears.

  • Visual matches (default): similar images across the web, with page link, title, source, thumbnail and full-size image URL.
  • Exact matches (optional): the same image on other sites - useful for stolen-photo detection / SEO audit.
  • AI description (optional): Google AI Mode's generated description of the image.

One flat price per image searched. If Google blocks the search or cannot load your image, that image is not charged.

What it extracts

Per image, one record with:

FieldDescription
imageUrlThe input image URL
vsridGoogle's visual-search request ID
visualMatches[]Array of {link, title, source, domain, thumbnail, imageUrl, imageWidth, imageHeight}
visualMatchCountHandy counter
exactMatches[]Only with includeExactMatches. Array of {title, source, date, imageWidth, imageHeight, thumbnail, googleRedirectUrl}. Google hides the destination behind an opaque redirect; googleRedirectUrl opens the matching page in a browser.
aiSummaryOnly with includeAI. Free-text description generated by Google AI Mode.
warnings[]Present when an optional tab could not be collected (see below).
scrapedAtISO timestamp
errorOnly when the image could not be searched at all. Records with error are never charged.

}

About the optional tabs

Visual matches come from a lightweight request and take about 30 seconds per image. Exact matches and the AI description need a full browser session, and Google refuses a fresh session part of the time. The actor retries with new sessions (maxAttemptsPerImage); when every attempt is refused, you still get the visual matches plus a warnings entry, and you can re-run those images later. Expect 1-3 extra minutes per image when these options are on.

Errors you may see

error textMeaningCharged?
Google Lens could not load this imageGoogle could not fetch the URL (not public, not a direct image, or hotlinking blocked). Try another host.No
Google blocked the search for this imageGoogle's anti-bot wall refused every attempt. Retry in a few minutes.No

If every image in a run is blocked, the run is marked as failed so you notice it right away. Nothing is charged in that case.

Pricing

Pay-per-event: one image-searched event per image that returned matches or an AI description. No actor-start fee, no per-result micro charges. See the Pricing tab for the current rate.
