Versions follow MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH (src/version.py); Apify shows MAJOR.MINOR from .actor/actor.json.
Every run logs its version and records it in the RUN_STATS key-value record.
- A run that returns nothing (every input bad, private, blocked or unreachable, or an empty input) now ends
SUCCEEDED with an empty dataset and the reason as its status message and in the log, instead of FAILED. Only an
unexpected error still fails the run.
RUN_STATS keeps the reason as before.
- No change to output fields or price.
Listing only; results are unchanged.
- Title names trending searches; README adds a "Switching from another Google Trends actor?" table mapping
Google's URL parameters and time codes to this actor's inputs.
First release.
- Google Trends for each search line (one term, or up to 5 compared on one scale): interest over time with
averages, interest by region, and top and rising related queries per term; any country or region, time range
(presets or custom dates), category and search type (web, images, news, YouTube, Shopping).
- Trending now per country from Google's Trending Now RSS feed, with the news stories behind each search, and an
"only new" mode that remembers what was returned per country for 14 days.
- Searches go through Apify's datacenter proxy; any Google throttles (HTTP 429) are tried once more from a
residential IP with a fresh cookie before being reported as failed.
- Charged per result returned, through Apify's standard
apify-default-dataset-item event.
- "Max results per run" input, and the maximum cost per run is honoured.
- Failure isolation: a failing search only affects itself.
