Input

Field	What it does
Sectors	Which parts of the press: politics, business, tech, sport... Empty: all.
Languages	Hebrew, English, Arabic, Russian, French. Empty: all.
Sites	Site keys, one per line. Empty: all. A site's key is always its domain without the ending: Behadrei Haredim is bhol.co.il, so its key is bhol; Kikar HaShabbat is kikar.co.il, so kikar and so on. Every article carries its site's key in the site field. Run once by sector, look at the site column, and you have every key of that sector.
Maximum articles	The run stops after this many. Default 500; 0 is no limit, up to the maximum cost per run you set.
Only what is new	Default: On. The first run with a filter returns the newest articles; every run after returns what was stored since. The position is kept in the key-value store israel-news in your account, one entry per filter.
Since	When "only what is new" is off: read back from now to this time (ISO 8601, Israel time). We keep a week.

id is the order we stored the articles in: a larger id is always a later article. subheadline is empty when the site has none. Times are Israel time with their offset.

Pricing

You pay per article saved to your dataset, plus a small start fee per run. The price is on the Pricing tab.
Paid Apify plans pay less per article, by plan; the Pricing tab has the numbers. Set a maximum cost per run and the Actor stops at it, cleanly, with everything up to that point saved.

A run that finds nothing new costs the start fee only. A run that fails keeps and charges only the articles it saved before failing. A live answer through the API or MCP is charged per article at the same price: the articles are written to the Standby run's dataset too, so you can read them again there.

Live API and MCP server, no run needed

The Actor also runs in Standby mode: a server that answers at once, from our database, with nothing to start and no dataset to read.

• Live API. GET /articles on https://israel-news--israeli-news-feed.apify.actor (the Server tab has a form to try it in the browser), with your Apify token in the Authorization: Bearer header. Parameters: sectors, languages, sites, since, after, before, limit (up to 1000), and body=false for titles and links only. The answer is JSON, in one to two seconds. Keep its newest_id and send it as after next time: only what is new, oldest first.
• MCP server for AI agents. The same data as one tool, get_israeli_news, at /mcp on the same address. Add it to Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client with your Apify token, and the agent asks for "the politics news since this morning" by itself. The Actor is also reachable through Apify's own MCP server, mcp.apify.com.
• Schedule the Actor every 5 or 10 minutes with "only what is new" on and you have a live feed in your dataset.
• Apify API: call the Actor from your code like any Apify Actor; the dataset is yours to read.

טיפ: רוצים כתבות בעברית בלבד? בלשונית Input של ה‑Actor, בשדה Languages, פתחו את הרשימה ובחרו Hebrew. אם השדה נשאר ריק, הפיד כולל את כל השפות שאנחנו קוראים: גם רוסית, ערבית, אנגלית וצרפתית, מהאתרים הישראליים בשפות האלה. בהרצה דרך ה‑API או מתזמון, זה השדה "languages": ["he"] בקלט.

id הוא הסדר שבו שמרנו את הכתבות: מזהה גדול יותר הוא תמיד כתבה מאוחרת יותר. subheadline ריק כשלאתר אין כותרת משנה. הזמנים בשעון ישראל עם ההיסט שלו.

מחיר

משלמים לכל כתבה שנשמרה ל‑dataset שלכם, ועוד דמי התחלה קטנים לכל ריצה. המחיר בלשונית Pricing.
תוכניות Apify בתשלום משלמות פחות לכתבה, לפי התוכנית; המספרים בלשונית Pricing. הגדירו תקרת עלות לריצה וה‑Actor נעצר בה, נקי, עם כל מה שנשמר עד אז.

ריצה שלא מצאה חדש עולה את דמי ההתחלה בלבד. ריצה שנכשלה שומרת ומחייבת רק את הכתבות שנשמרו לפני הכישלון. תשובה חיה דרך ה‑API או MCP מחויבת לכל כתבה באותו מחיר: הכתבות נכתבות גם ל‑dataset של ריצת ה‑Standby, כך שאפשר לקרוא אותן שוב משם.
