Search query for events. Examples: 'concerts in Austin', 'tech conferences in Chicago', 'festivals in Portland'. Tip: name the city plainly here and put the state or precise place in the Location field. Including a state abbreviation in the query itself (e.g. 'Festivals in Portland, OR') reliably returns nothing.
Geographic location to bias event results toward (e.g. 'Austin, Texas, United States', 'New York, NY', 'London, United Kingdom'). Optional — improves relevance when the search query itself isn't location-specific.
Country code for localization (ISO 3166-1 alpha-2, lowercase, e.g. 'us', 'gb', 'de', 'fr', 'jp'). Optional — defaults based on search context if omitted. See the README for the full list of supported codes.
Language code for localization (ISO 639-1, lowercase, e.g. 'en', 'es', 'fr', 'de', 'ja'). Optional — defaults based on country if omitted. See the README for the full list of supported codes.
Optional date filter. Supported tokens: date:today, date:tomorrow, date:week (this week), date:weekend (this weekend), date:next_week (Google's weeks run Sunday to Saturday), date:month (this month - note 'date:month', not 'date:thismonth'), date:next_month. The filter is applied by naming the window in the search query, the only date mechanism Google still honors for event listings; one date token takes effect per run (the first listed). event_type:Virtual-Event is rejected at the start of the run before any charge: Google's listings no longer distinguish virtual events, so it would return misleading results.
Retained for backward compatibility. Event listings are returned as a single batch of up to 10 on one page, so any value above 1 is clamped to 1 and you are charged for one page.
