Carsensor Japan Used Car Prices & Mileage by Model

What it does: Tells you what a used car model currently sells for in Japan — from listings on Carsensor, Japan's largest used-car site.

You enter: A Carsensor model code, e.g. bTO/s149 (Toyota Land Cruiser 70), or the model page URL.

You get: One row per model: median total price (all fees in) and range, mileage, price and mileage for each model year, declared accident-free share, MT/AT mix, top prefectures — in JPY and USD, from the 60 newest listings. Optional: one row per car (off by default).

Price: $0.02 per model — every model you enter is charged. +$0.002 per car if you also want the list (off by default). No results = no charge.

A default run (1 model, summary only) costs $0.02. You pay per model; there is no monthly fee. You are never charged for a model that returns zero listings.

Model codes — how to build one

A code is the maker (b + two letters) and the model (s + three digits), exactly as they appear in the model page URL carsensor.net/usedcar/bTO/s149/. The site is Japanese-only, so both halves are here.

Notes & limits

• Statistics are computed over a newest-first sample (up to maxListingsPerModel); totalListingsFound is the full market size for context
• Listing pages carry no publication date, so no time-on-market metric is possible
• Read-only and throttled (~1 request / 1.5 s). No login, no personal data, nothing stored between runs

• Wrong number or a failed run? Open a ticket on the Issues tab. I read every one and reply within 2 business days (Japan time).
• You never get a fake "empty" result. If the site can't be read, the run fails and says so.
• No results = no charge. You only pay for results you actually get.
