Carsensor Japan Used Cars — Market Price & Mileage Stats

Market statistics for Japanese used cars, straight from Carsensor — Japan's largest used-car listing site (run by Recruit). One call per model returns:

• Total price stats (支払総額 — the real drive-away price including all fees, the number that matters when you buy for export) — median / quartiles / min / max
• Mileage stats (km) and median model year
• Per-year breakdown — count, median total price and median mileage for every model year in the sample
• Repair-history share — % of cars declared accident-free (修復歴なし)
• MT/AT mix, median engine displacement, top prefectures (where the stock actually is)
• Optionally, every sampled car (price, year, mileage, repair history, transmission, location, URL)

Prices are reported in JPY and (optionally) USD. Listings are sampled newest-first, so the stats reflect the current market, not an ad-weighted ranking. Data is fetched on demand from Carsensor's public model pages — nothing is stored between runs.

Built for JDM exporters and cross-border buyers: the wholesale auction data (USS) is members-only and paid — this gives you the retail-market reference for the same cars in one call.

• Statistics are computed over a newest-first sample (up to maxListingsPerModel); totalListingsFound is the full market size for context
• Listing pages carry no publication date, so no time-on-market metric is possible
• Read-only and throttled (~1 request / 1.5 s). No login, no personal data, nothing stored between runs
