Scrape Marriott Bonvoy's global hotel directory — extract property IDs, brand data, and full addresses for ~8,800 hotels across 32 Marriott brands, straight from Marriott.com.

What Does This Marriott Bonvoy Scraper Do?

This actor crawls Marriott.com's public hotel sitemap and property pages to build a structured directory of every Marriott Bonvoy property: MARSHA property ID, brand and brand tier, full street address, GPS coordinates, phone number, and (where published) star rating and guest review data. It's a location and brand dataset, not a live rates or loyalty-points feed — see Coming Soon below for what's on the roadmap.

Features

  • Extracts ~8,800 Marriott properties across 32 brands — from Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott down to Fairfield and TownePlace Suites
  • Returns MARSHA property IDs, brand code/name/tier, full address, and GPS coordinates for every property
  • Includes phone number, hero image URL, and canonical Marriott.com property URL
  • Captures star rating, guest rating, and review count where Marriott publishes them
  • Filters by brandCodes, countryFilter, or maxItems for scoped runs
  • Runs entirely on Bright Data Web Unlocker — no browser, no residential proxy pool

Who Uses Marriott Hotel Directory Data?

  • Hospitality market research — map Marriott's global footprint by brand tier, country, or city
  • Lead generation — build hotel contact and location lists (address, phone, brand) for B2B sales, vendor, or partnership outreach
  • Site-selection & real estate analysis — geocoded dataset of hotel locations for competitive-proximity or market-density studies
  • Travel product & OTA catalog seeding — reliable brand/location reference data to backfill or validate a property catalog
  • Business intelligence dashboards — track Marriott brand expansion by region over time

Coming Soon: Award Categories, Points & Live Rates

The dataset schema already reserves fields for Bonvoy award category, points redemption tiers (off-peak / standard / peak), Cash + Points pricing, Free Night Certificate eligibility, live published rates, resort/parking fees, and property amenities (rooms, spa, pool, pet policy, meeting space). These fields ship null today — Marriott only exposes them through a client-side, date-selection-gated booking widget, not in the static property page. Pulling that data reliably requires a second, date-scoped fetch against Marriott's availability API, which is a planned premium tier (FR 421) layered on top of this directory. If you need award categories, points, or live rates now, get in touch — we can scope a custom build.

FAQ

Q: How do I scrape Marriott hotel data? A: Use this actor to extract Marriott Bonvoy's full hotel directory — MARSHA IDs, brand, address, GPS coordinates, and ratings for ~8,800 properties. Set maxItems, brandCodes, or countryFilter to scope the run.

Q: Does this actor return Bonvoy award categories or points? A: Not yet. Those fields are reserved in the output schema but currently return null — they're a planned premium add-on (see Coming Soon above).

Q: Does this include room rates or pricing? A: Not currently. Live rate data (lowest_published_rate_usd, fees) is on the roadmap alongside award categories.

Q: What data can I get from Marriott.com with this scraper? A: Property identity and location data: MARSHA ID, brand, brand tier, full address, GPS coordinates, phone, and (when published) star rating, guest rating, and review count.

Q: How does this actor access Marriott.com? A: It fetches publicly available sitemap and property pages through Bright Data Web Unlocker (server-side bot-management bypass) — no browser automation, no login, no residential proxy pool.

Notes

  • No residential proxy — every page is fetched through Bright Data Web Unlocker, not a browser or a residential proxy pool.
  • Full crawl runtime — scraping all ~8,800 properties takes hours (Bright Data server-side unblocking runs ~30–100s per page). Filter by brandCodes or countryFilter for faster, scoped runs.
  • Coverage gapsstar_rating, guest_rating, and review_count are only populated where Marriott publishes them on the property page; expect null on some properties.
  • Award/points/rates fields are reserved but null — see Coming Soon.
