Find newly registered UK companies by SIC code and incorporation date. Returns company names, registered addresses, SIC codes, incorporation dates and official source links from Companies House, up to your result limit. Optional officer enrichment is available separately. Results depend on the register's availability and the API's limits; this actor does not guarantee earlier delivery than other data providers.

How to use it (zero setup)

1. Set your niche's SIC codes (e.g. 62012 business software, 56101 restaurants, 43390 fit-out contractors, 86230 dental practices — full list). No API key needed; the actor runs on its built-in key.
2. Create a weekly schedule in Apify if you want repeat collection. Without explicit dates, each run searches from seven days before the run through the current UTC date. The actor does not save a collection cursor or remove companies returned by earlier runs: deduplicate by regNumber in your destination, or supply your own date windows.
3. Pipe the dataset into your CRM via the Apify API, export to Sheets, or trigger enrichment downstream.

Pricing

Pay per event, with a $0.00005 start event at the default memory setting. Current event prices:

The 10-company example above has a nominal event charge of $0.04005 using the built-in key, if all 10 results are returned at these prices and the default memory setting. Enrichment uses its enriched event instead of the base company event. Set both maxItems and the platform's maximum total charge before running. See the Pricing tab for the effective price. A run can return fewer rows than requested; no matching companies is a valid empty result.

Data source & fair use

Companies House public API — the official UK register (Crown copyright). The developer guidelines impose a limit of 600 requests per five minutes and allow applications to be banned for repeated excess or attempts to bypass that limit. Built-in-key runs share the key's allowance. This actor is not affiliated with Companies House. Availability on the public register is not blanket permission for every downstream use.

Telemetry

Each run records one anonymous telemetry event to the developer's own storage: a salted hash of the caller account ID (never the raw ID), the run origin (e.g. web console vs API), and a timestamp. No inputs, results, or personal data are collected - this only measures adoption (distinct and returning users).
