Input

• Search keywords: e.g. habit tracker, budget app. Rank = position in Apple's search API results for that storefront.
• App IDs or URLs: details lookup (batched, up to 150 apps per request).
• Developer IDs or URLs: all apps of a developer.
• Top charts: top-free, top-paid (iPhone), with chart rank.
• Countries: any two-letter storefront code (us, gb, de, jp, ...). Everything runs once per country.
• Max results per keyword / chart: up to 200 (Apple's limit).
• Platform: iPhone/iPad or Mac App Store (search only).

Pricing

Pay per result: $0.001 per app row ($1 per 1,000 apps). No start fee. Plus the small Apify platform compute usage (runs on 256 MB).

Data source and limits

• Uses only Apple's official public endpoints: the iTunes Search API / Lookup API and Apple's RSS marketing-tools charts feed. No login, no API key, no HTML scraping, no proxies.
• Search rank is the order returned by the iTunes Search API, which closely tracks but is not guaranteed to be identical to the in-app App Store search on a device (Apple personalizes and A/B-tests in-app results).
• Apple caps results at 200 per keyword and per chart, and asks clients to stay around 20 requests per minute, so the actor paces itself (about 1.5 s between requests). Large jobs take proportionally longer.
• No download or revenue estimates: Apple does not publish them, and this actor does not invent them.
• Data is what Apple publishes publicly. The actor collects no personal data beyond the developer/seller names Apple shows on store pages.
