Hostelworld Listings Scraper – Hostel Prices & Ratings

Exports hostels and other properties listed on Hostelworld city pages, with ratings by category, review counts, lowest dorm and private prices, location and badges.

What it returns

For each property: id, name, type, link, address, city, country, coordinates, distance from the city centre, overall rating and review count, ratings for security, location, staff, atmosphere, cleanliness, value and facilities, lowest dorm and private prices with currency, availability flag, new flag, badges, short intro, image and image count.

How to use

1. Add Cities as City, Country (for example Toronto, Canada, London, England) or a Hostelworld city page link.
2. Pick the Currency.
3. Set Max properties.

Input

In a 40-item test run, every field was filled for at least 90% of items except: none. Empty fields mean the site did not show that value.

Notes

• Prices are the "from" prices Hostelworld shows on the city page for its default dates.
• Some hostels list the same dorm and private "from" price. This comes from Hostelworld's own data (checked 2026-10-24: Wombat's City Hostel London, CAD 42.10 in both) and is passed through unchanged.
• Hostelworld lists 30 properties per city page.

How much does a run cost?

This Actor uses pay-per-event pricing. You pay only for these events:

• Hostel: $0.001 each ($1 per 1,000) – One hostel saved to the dataset. Set maxItems to cap the cost of a run.

How many results can one run return?

Up to maxItems (default 100, maximum 50,000).
