Marktplaats.nl Listings Scraper

Scrape listings from Marktplaats.nl, the largest Dutch classifieds site, into JSON, CSV or Excel. Give search terms or paste marktplaats.nl/q/… search URLs.

Price: $0.10 per 1,000 listings + $0.001 per run. The run fee is charged only after the first listing is saved, so a failed or empty run costs $0. Partial runs: if a run stops partway (blocked, 60-minute limit, or an unexpected error after some listings were saved), you pay only for what was saved: $0.001 + $0.0001 × saved listings. Such runs end as SUCCEEDED with a status message saying why they stopped; every listing is checked against the output schema before it is saved, so one odd listing is skipped instead of failing the run.

Data comes from the public search pages only (/q/ pages, which robots.txt allows). No logins, no internal APIs, no listing pages.

Input

• Search terms: e.g. gazelle fiets, iphone 13. Each term is searched separately.
• Search URLs: https://www.marktplaats.nl/q/<term>/ only. Filters after # (price, distance, sort) are applied in the browser, not on the server, so they are ignored. Category pages (/l/…) are not supported.
• Max listings: up to 50,000 per run. Marktplaats shows a limited number of pages per search (about 167 × 30 = 5,000), so use more specific terms for more.

Duplicates across searches are removed.

Privacy

• Seller names are off by default. sellerName is filled only when Marktplaats flags the seller as a business (isVerified, or a business account that shows a website). There is no name-guessing: a handle or a person's name is never output. Seller ids are not output.
• attributes keeps only item-describing keys (condition, delivery, brand, size, colour, material…); manufacturer contact/address fields (GPSR), contact and address keys are dropped, and every value is scrubbed.
• Hard line: right before saving, every string in every field (title, description, attributes, nested values) gets a final email and phone scrub.
• Each run stops cleanly after 60 minutes (saved listings kept, nothing more charged).
• In descriptions, personal names, phone numbers (06, 0xx, +31), e-mail addresses and house numbers are replaced by [name], [phone], [email] and [nr]. Postcodes are cut to the 4-digit area.
• Masking uses Dutch name lists with tussenvoegsels (van, de, van der …) and cues such as "Vraag naar", "Bel", "Groetjes", "Met vriendelijke groet" and "dhr./mevr.".
• In titles, only emails, phones, house numbers and cue-based names are masked. Titles are mostly brands and models, so "Hugo Boss" or "Van Raam" are kept.

Known limits: a full name with no cue at all (no greeting, sign-off, 'bel'/'vraag naar', honorific) and an unusual particle (d', von) can be kept, e.g. "Fleur von Oberndorff" alone. A single first name on its own without a cue (e.g. "Sanne" alone) can be kept. A person's name that is also a well-known brand or artist (a fixed list) is kept. A business whose name is just a person's name has no sellerName.

Break-even: we charge $0.001 per start and $0.0001 per listing. Our start fee is higher than some rivals', so for a run with a single listing solidcode and piotrv1001 ($0.00005 start + $0.001 per listing) cost $0.00105 against our $0.0011; we cost less from the 2nd listing in a run. bovi's Marktplaats scraper (4 users, not in the table) charges $0.000855–$0.0009 per listing with no start fee, so it too is cheaper for a one-listing run and we cost less from listing 2. Against haketa, ivanvs, azzouzana, memo23, nocodeventure, lowlanddata and nifty.codes we cost less from the first listing. Some rivals open each listing page and return the full text, seller details or more images. This Actor returns search-result data only.

Tips

• Use 256 MB memory (the default). A datacenter proxy is enough.
• A search with 0 results fails the run with a clear message, and nothing is charged.

How much does a run cost?

This Actor uses pay-per-event pricing. You pay only for these events:

• Run start: $0.001 per run – Charged once per run, only after the first listing has been saved. Failed runs and runs with 0 listings are not charged.
• Listing: $0.0001 each ($0.1 per 1,000) – One unique Marktplaats.nl listing saved to the dataset. Set maxItems to cap the cost of a run.

How many results can one run return?

Up to maxItems (default 100, maximum 50,000).

How do I export or automate the results?

Results are saved to the run's dataset. Download them as JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML, read them through the Apify API, or run the Actor on a schedule and send the results to Google Sheets, Slack, Zapier, Make or a webhook.
