• Processing time: 5-10 seconds per company (page load + detail extraction + rate limiting). A run with 100 companies takes approximately 10-15 minutes.
• Pagination limits: The WKO site uses ASP.NET postback pagination which can be unreliable for very deep result sets (1000+ pages). Narrow your search with specific branche and bundesland filters.
• Detail page variations: Not all company profiles contain the same data. Some businesses have minimal profiles with only name and address.
• Rate limiting: The actor uses 2-3 second delays between requests. Running multiple concurrent instances may trigger server-side rate limiting.
• No historical data: The directory reflects current WKO membership status only.
• German content: All data is in German as published by WKO.
• Proxy recommended for bulk: For runs with 500+ companies, using Apify Proxy (residential) is recommended to avoid IP-based throttling.
