EU DSA Transparency Database

Pull content-moderation "statements of reasons" that platforms submit to the EU's DSA Transparency Database — per platform, per day. See what each platform removed, disabled or restricted, why, and whether it was automated. For platform-regulation research, compliance and competitive analysis.

Factual public regulatory data from the official EU DSA Transparency Database. Not legal advice.

{ "platform": "Airbnb", "dateFrom": "2026-06-30", "dateTo": "2026-06-30", "maxResults": 100 }

Schedule a daily sweep (0 8 * * *) to track a platform's moderation activity over time.

📊 What you get

Clean JSON, one record per statement of reasons (fields from a live test run):

  • date · platform
  • category · category_specification — the violation category
  • decision_ground — illegal vs. incompatible content
  • decision_visibility — removal / disabling / demotion / restriction
  • decision_monetary · decision_provision · decision_account — other decision types
  • content_type · source_type
  • automated_detection · automated_decision — automation flags
  • application_date · content_date · created_at
  • uuid · sourceUrl — official statement reference

Pricing: $0.10 per moderation record (Pay-Per-Event) — about 10 records per $1. Plus a $0.01 actor-start. Decision-grade regulatory data.

🗺️ Scope (honest)

  • Source: the official EU DSA Transparency Database daily per-platform light files (no paid API key or token needed).
  • Retention: the database holds the last ~6 months of statements.
  • Light schema: excludes the long free-text explanation fields and territorial_scope (those are only in the full archive). All categorical decision fields are included.
  • Best for the platform long-tail (marketplaces, dating, travel, app stores, etc.). The mega-platforms (TikTok, Google, Amazon, Meta) submit millions of statements per day, producing very large daily files better suited to the EU's bulk-download or Research-API paths.
  • Roadmap: a daily-aggregate counts mode (statements by category/decision per platform).
