This actor turns the European Commission EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) register into clean, per-registration records — the official list of organisations and sites certified under the EU's premium environmental-management scheme. Each run reads the Commission's keyless data-query API and delivers one row per registration: the registration number, the organisation, the country and locality, the number of employees and sites, the site name and location, the NACE activity code, and the registration expiry. Organisation / site certification grain, structured for engineering use, under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence, with a hard person-gate: verifier names, contact emails, contact persons, street addresses, and narrative fields are structurally omitted at field selection and never emitted.

That attribution travels on every record. One honest caveat rides too: registration status and dates are as published, not a substitute for the live EMAS register.

Hard person-gate — organisation/site certification attributes only

The source record carries fields that identify people: contact emails (registration_email, site_email) and the environmental verifier — often a named individual (e.g. an accreditation code followed by a person's name). This actor emits none of them. Those fields are not in the field-selection list at all — they are never read into the record — and a person-key guard runs on every record as a backstop. Street addresses and narrative fields are likewise omitted; only the organisation and site certification attributes (identity, locality, size, activity code, dates, website) are kept. The acceptance suite feeds a record whose email and verifier fields carry a real address and a real person's name and asserts that neither the key nor the value can ever appear in output.

Each record is one registration. Identity: record_id / registration_number and organisation_name. Organisation location and size: registration_country, registration_city, registration_postal_code, registration_website, number_of_employees, and number_of_sites. Registration: expiration_date. Site: site_name, site_country, site_city, site_postal_code, site_website, site_number_of_employees, and site_naces (activity code). Provenance: source, source_url, licence, attribution, disclaimer, and observed_at. Not present by design: verifier names, contact emails, contact persons, street addresses, and narrative fields.

How a run works

A run first re-reads the source host's robots posture from your runtime — the Commission's environmental data-query host — and stops at the door if a Disallow ever covers it. It then pages the EMAS registrations endpoint, applies your optional country and organisation filters, and flattens each registration to one record — reading only the organisation and site certification fields, never an email, verifier, or contact person — delivered before it is charged, so a blocked or empty run costs you nothing. The actor stops at your maxRecords ceiling and records charge_equals_delivered in the receipt.

Coverage and scope

The register holds on the order of 20,000+ EMAS registrations across the EU and EEA. Because each record carries the registration_country and site_naces, segmenting by country or sector is a single filter, and the size fields support cohorting by organisation scale. Pull one country to build a national EMAS map, or the whole register to seed a certified-organisation table.

Cost guidance

One registration_record per delivered registration: cost = registrations delivered × your plan's per-record price. Scope with countryContains or organisationContains to keep runs bounded. The whole register is ~20,000 registrations; 1,000 registrations is $50 (Free) / $33.50 (Gold).

Honest limitations

• As published. Registration attributes, dates, and status are exactly as the Commission publishes them; this actor reformats, it does not verify or certify.
• Not the live register. For a certification-status decision, consult the live EMAS register.
• Certification attributes only. Verifier names, contact emails, contact persons, street addresses, and narrative fields are excluded by design.
• No person data of any kind.

Differentiation

It is distinct from the fleet's sanctions, company-status, and industrial-emissions cells: this is the EMAS eco-management certification register at organisation/site grain, with the verifier and contact fields provably stripped. It answers "which organisations and sites hold EMAS certification, where, and in what sector" — a green-credential signal, not a company register or an emissions record.
