LinkedIn Company Profiles Scraper

Scrape LinkedIn company profiles from any list of URLs, up to a million per run. Every profile returns its industry, size, specialties, and full description. No login or API key. Export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML.

LinkedIn's official API requires partner approval, strict rate limits, and often returns only partial company data. This Actor reads the public company pages directly from a list of URLs you provide and returns each profile in one consistent, flat schema. It is built for teams that need structured firmographic data at scale without managing OAuth tokens or API quotas.

Who uses itWhat they scrape LinkedIn for
Sales operations teamsEnrich account lists with firmographic data before a campaign.
Market researchersMap an industry by scraping a curated list of company pages.
RecruitersBuild a target company list with size and industry filters for sourcing.
Data analystsCollect structured company attributes for a master data set.

What it does

This Actor collects LinkedIn company profiles from a list of URLs you supply and returns each one as a flat row with its industry, company size, specialties, description, and other public fields.

  • 📋 Batch by URL list: Paste up to a million LinkedIn company URLs and the Actor visits each one in sequence.
  • ⚙️ Concurrency control: Set the maximum parallel requests to balance speed against rate limiting.
  • 📊 Flat row output: Every company profile lands in your dataset as one row, ready for CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML export.

Results export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML, or straight from the API.

What you can do with LinkedIn data

Configure the run

Drive the Actor from a list of LinkedIn company page URLs. The max items limit stops the run after a set number of profiles, and concurrency controls how many pages are fetched in parallel. The Input tab lists every parameter.

A first run with the defaults:

"https://www.linkedin.com/company/google/",
"https://www.linkedin.com/company/microsoft/"

Use with AI agents (MCP)

Give an AI agent live access to LinkedIn through the Model Context Protocol. Add the Actor to Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client:

$claude mcp add --transport http apify "https://mcp.apify.com?tools=parseforge/linkedin-company-profiles-scraper"

Then prompt it in plain language to run the scraper and read back the results.

Troubleshooting

Why am I getting no results even though the URLs are correct?

Check that the company pages are publicly accessible without logging in. If LinkedIn is blocking the requests, lower the max concurrency to 1 and try again. Also verify the URLs start with https://www.linkedin.com/company/.

The Actor returns fewer profiles than I expected.

The max items setting limits how many profiles are processed. If you set it to 50 but pasted 100 URLs, only the first 50 will be scraped. Increase the max items value or check the run log for URLs that failed.

I am getting rate limited or seeing empty fields.

Reduce the max concurrency to 1 or 2. LinkedIn may throttle aggressive scraping. Running during off-peak hours and spreading large lists across multiple smaller runs also helps.

Some company profiles return partial data.

LinkedIn sometimes shows different data depending on the region or whether the viewer is logged in. The Actor can only return what is publicly visible on the page at the time of the request.

The run takes too long for a large list.

Increase the max concurrency to speed up the run, but watch for rate limiting. For very large lists, split the URLs across multiple runs and increase the concurrency gradually until you find a stable speed.

FAQ

QuestionAnswer
Do I need a LinkedIn account or API key to use this? No. The Actor reads public company pages that are visible without logging in. You do not need a LinkedIn account, an API key, or OAuth tokens.
What data does the Actor return for each company? It returns the public fields available on the company page: industry, company size, specialties, description, website, headquarters, and other visible attributes. The exact fields are listed in the sample output on this page.
How many company profiles can I scrape in one run?Free users can scrape up to 100 profiles per run. Paid Apify users can set the maximum up to 1,000,000 profiles per run.
Can I scrape company profiles from a search result instead of a URL list? This Actor works from a list of direct company page URLs. If you need to discover companies from a search, use a LinkedIn search scraper first to collect the URLs, then feed them into this Actor.
What happens if a URL is invalid or the page is not accessible? The Actor logs the error and continues with the next URL. It will not stop the whole run for one bad link.
How do I avoid getting rate limited by LinkedIn?Lower the max concurrency setting to reduce the number of parallel requests. A value of 1 or 2 is safest for long runs. The Actor also respects polite delays between requests.
Can I scrape LinkedIn company profiles in languages other than English?Yes. The Actor returns the page content as it appears. If a company page is in French, German, or Japanese, the description and other text fields will be in that language.
Does this Actor scrape employee counts or follower numbers? It returns whatever public data LinkedIn shows on the company page. If LinkedIn displays an employee count range or follower count, that field will appear in your output.
Can I run this on a schedule to track company profile changes?Yes. You can set up a recurring task in Apify with the same URL list and compare datasets over time to see which fields changed.
Is it legal to scrape LinkedIn company pages? This Actor only reads publicly visible pages. You are responsible for complying with LinkedIn's terms of service and applicable laws in your jurisdiction. Apify provides the tool; you decide how to use it.
