Skyscanner Flight Scraper
Scrape Skyscanner flight prices and routes by airport pair and date, up to a million results per run. Every itinerary comes with its price, airline, stops, and timings. No browser needed. Export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML.
Skyscanner's website shows live flight prices, but comparing hundreds of routes by hand is slow. This Actor reads the public search results directly for any origin, destination, and outbound date you give it, and returns each flight option in one flat row. You get the same prices a traveler sees, without clicking through pages.
| Who uses it | What they scrape Skyscanner for |
|---|---|
| Travel deal hunters | Monitor price drops on a specific route over time. |
| Data analysts | Build a dataset of flight prices across multiple city pairs for a fare study. |
| OTA developers | Feed live Skyscanner fares into a flight search widget or comparison tool. |
| Travel bloggers | Pull the cheapest flights for a destination guide post. |
What it does
This Actor collects Skyscanner flight results for a given airport pair and date, and returns each itinerary as a flat row.
- ✈️ Airport pair search: give an origin and destination IATA code (e.g. JFK to LHR) and an outbound date.
- 📅 Date-specific pricing: collect fares for a single departure date, so you always see the live price.
- 🔢 Volume control: set a maximum number of flights to collect per run, from 1 up to 1,000,000.
- ⚡ Lightweight execution: runs as an HTTP request, no headless browser, so it is fast and cheap.
Results export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML, or straight from the API.
What you can do with Skyscanner data
📉 Track a route price over time.
A deal hunter schedules daily runs for JFK to LHR and watches the lowest fare trend in a Google Sheet.
📊 Build a multi-route fare matrix.
A data analyst runs the Actor for 50 city pairs and loads the flat rows into a database for a quarterly fare study.
🔍 Power a flight search widget.
An OTA developer calls the Actor from a backend to populate a white-label flight search with live Skyscanner results.
✍️ Populate a travel guide with live prices.
A travel blogger scrapes the cheapest flights to Bali for a monthly deals roundup post.
Why choose this scraper
| What you get | |
|---|---|
| Live Skyscanner prices | The fare a traveler sees on Skyscanner right now, not a cached estimate. |
| Flat row per itinerary | One row per flight option, ready for spreadsheets or databases. |
| No browser overhead | Runs as a pure HTTP call, so each scrape costs less and finishes faster. |
| IATA code input | Use standard three-letter airport codes you already know. |

Then prompt it in plain language to run the scraper and read back the results.
Troubleshooting
Why am I getting no results?
Check that your origin and destination IATA codes are valid and that the outbound date is in the future. Skyscanner may not show results for very distant dates or routes with no scheduled service.
The prices I scraped do not match what I see on the Skyscanner website.
Prices can change between searches due to caching and real-time availability. Run the Actor again to get the latest fares. Also check that your geolocation settings match the market you are targeting.
The run fails with an error about the date format.
Make sure the outbound date is in YYYY-MM-DD format, for example 2026-08-01. Dates in other formats like 08/01/2026 will cause an error.
I only got a few results but I know there are more flights.
Increase the 'Maximum flights' input value. The Actor stops when it reaches that number, even if more results exist on Skyscanner.
The Actor is taking too long to finish.
Lower the 'Maximum flights' value to collect fewer results per run. If you need a large volume, consider splitting your request across multiple runs with different date ranges.
