🔑 Authentication Requirement

Before anything runs, the actor needs proof you're logged in, a session cookie lifted from your own browser.

To capture it:

1. Add the 🧩 EditThisCookie extension to your browser
2. Sign into the platform you plan to search (LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, etc.)
3. Open the extension and copy the active session cookie
4. Paste that value into the cookie field before you launch

⚠️ Cookies go stale. If a run starts throwing errors partway through, that's usually why, capture a new one and kick off the run again.

🧾 Setting Up Your First Run

1. Navigate to your B2B platform and run the search you want to extract
2. Copy the resulting URL from the address bar
3. Paste it into searchUrl, overwriting any default text
4. Set maxResults to however many contacts you're after
5. Fill in the cookie field with what you copied earlier
6. Click Start

⚙️ What Happens After You Hit Start

• Self-navigating — the actor pages through the entire result set on its own, pulling names, titles, companies, and contact info as it goes
• Checkpointing — if a run gets cut off, it remembers its place for that exact URL and continues rather than starting over
• Duplicate filtering — contacts that already showed up won't be added twice
• One job at a time — accounts are limited to a single concurrent run for reliability
• 30-day retention — checkpoint data for a given URL expires after 30 days if left untouched

🕐 How Long Will It Take?

Budget around 40 minutes for every 1,000 contacts pulled. All the work happens on Apify's servers, not your machine, so your connection speed or laptop battery has zero effect. Feel free to close the tab once you see the run underway.
