What does Douban Scraper do?

Douban Scraper extracts data from Douban (豆瓣), China's largest community for rating and reviewing movies, TV shows, books and music, and home to thousands of interest groups (小组).

Limits

• Without login, Douban shows up to 200 short comments (most helpful first), about 200 reviews per title, and about 500 recent topics per group.
• Data is in Chinese as published on Douban.

Is it legal?

It collects only publicly visible data that anyone can see without logging in. Group posts may contain personal information. Handle it according to GDPR/PIPL and use the data responsibly.
