Non-Google Search Engines Scraper (Bing, DuckDuckGo, Ecosia, Brave)
Unofficial. This Actor is not affiliated with, authorised by, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected to Microsoft Bing, DuckDuckGo, Ecosia, or Brave Software. Trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used here solely for identification.
Extract organic search results across multiple non-Google search engines—Bing, DuckDuckGo, Ecosia, and Brave Search—into a single unified dataset schema.
What does it do?
Instead of maintaining separate scrapers for each search engine, this Actor unifies the non-Google search ecosystem into a normalized, clean structure:
- Multi-engine coverage: Query Bing, DuckDuckGo, Ecosia, and Brave Search individually or simultaneously.
- Tracking redirect unmasking: Automatically decodes tracking redirects (such as Bing's
&u=a1<base64>links and DuckDuckGo's/l/?uddg=...wrappers) to return direct, canonical destination URLs. - Ad & sponsor suppression: Filters out sponsored ad blocks, promotional links, and tracking beacons to ensure only organic search results are delivered.
- Rank tracking: Preserves 1-indexed organic position ranks per engine.
- Lightweight & fast: Runs on pure Python HTTP clients without heavy browser overhead (512 MB memory footprint).
