Scrape products and B2B suppliers from Europages — Europe's largest B2B marketplace — by keyword, category, or direct URL and get clean, structured records with pricing, MOQs, company contacts, and response metrics. Whether you're sourcing new manufacturers, building a supplier lead database, or tracking product catalogs across Europe, this scraper delivers ready-to-use data for just $2.00 per 1,000 items — on the Apify platform with API access, scheduling, and one-click dataset export.
What can Europages Scraper do for you?
- 🔍 Find B2B suppliers fast — search Europages by keyword or category and pull verified manufacturers, distributors, and wholesalers from 60+ countries, filtered exactly like the website.
- 🛒 Extract product catalogs with pricing — get product names, descriptions, price ranges (EUR), MOQs, images, and category data — then expand into each supplier's full catalog with one flag.
- 📇 Build enriched supplier profiles — optionally open every company page for phone number, VAT ID, address, certificates, contacts, founding year, and company description.
- 🏷️ Apply the same filters as the site — country/ships-from, supplier type, company size, verified/top responder badges, material, color, feature, price range, and even radius search around a location.
- ⚡ Qualify leads with response data — every record includes response rate, average response time, and quick-responder status, so you can prioritize suppliers who actually reply.
- 📊 Export to CSV, Excel, JSON, or your CRM — structured dataset output that drops straight into your sourcing pipeline or lead-generating workflow.

Scheduling & Deduplication
Scheduling: Europages is a mature B2B directory, so supplier and product data changes gradually — a weekly run is usually enough to keep your sourcing or lead database fresh, while daily runs make sense for competitive monitoring of fast-moving categories. You can set up recurring runs in the Apify Console's Scheduler tab (pick frequency, start time, and timezone). If your input uses multiple searchQueries, create one scheduled task per query — or one task with all queries — depending on whether you want separate datasets per term. All runs write to the dataset you name in the task settings, keeping history organized.
Deduplication: The scraper deduplicates automatically inside a single run — duplicate product URLs and already-crawled companies are skipped in memory, and maxItems caps total output. Across separate scheduled runs, each run writes to the same dataset and each record has a stable uuid (products) or companyId/companyUuid (suppliers). To collapse run history into unique records, deduplicate by those fields:
import asynciofrom apify_client import ApifyClientasync def main():client = ApifyClient("<YOUR-APIFY-TOKEN>")dataset_client = client.dataset("<DATASET-ID>")items = await dataset_client.list_items().to_list()unique = {}for item in items:key = item.get("uuid") or item.get("companyUuid")if key:unique[key] = itemprint(f"{len(items)} raw items -> {len(unique)} unique records")asyncio.run(main())
Webhooks: Add a webhook to your scheduled task (or to each run) to trigger downstream automation — e.g. push new product records to your ERP, CRM, or Google Sheets as soon as a run finishes, using payload variables like {{resource.defaultDatasetId}}.

Understanding Proxies:
When scraping data or browsing anonymously, proxies are essential. They act as intermediaries, masking your original IP address and allowing you to send requests from another location.
Why Use Proxies?
- Avoid IP Blocks: By routing requests through proxies, you prevent the target website from recognizing your IP as a scraper or spammer.
- Access Geo-restricted Content: Proxies let you access content or websites restricted by location.
- Enhance Anonymity: Hide your actual IP, ensuring privacy while scraping or browsing.
Types of Proxies
- Residential Proxies
- Real IP addresses provided by ISPs to home users.
- They mimic regular users, making them harder to detect.
- Best for: Long-term, undetectable scraping, and avoiding blocks.
- Data Center Proxies
- IP addresses from servers in data centers.
- Faster and cheaper than residential proxies but easier to detect and block.
- Best for: High-speed scraping, but with a higher risk of detection.
- Mobile Proxies
- IPs provided by mobile carriers (3G/4G/5G networks).
- Very difficult to detect, as they appear as regular mobile users.
- Best for: Mobile-related scraping or avoiding sophisticated blocks.
Rotating Proxies vs. Straight Proxies
- Rotating Proxies: Every request you send goes through a different proxy, making it harder for websites to detect patterns.
- Straight Proxies: All requests are sent through the same proxy, making it easier to track your IP.
FAQs & Troubleshooting
Q: What counts as one "item" for pricing?
Every dataset record — one product or one supplier/company — counts as one item on the dataset-item event ($2.00 per 1,000). Enrichment flags add extra events per item only when enabled: scrapeCompanyDetails (company-details), scrapeProductDetails (product-details), and scrapeSupplierProducts (supplier-product), each also $2.00 per 1,000. So a product with company details and product details enabled charges 3 events, while a plain product search charges just 1.
Q: The run says "Failed to extract record: challenge" or "access denied" — what does that mean?
Europages serves an anti-bot challenge when it detects automated traffic. Check the run's Proxy tab and switch to Apify Residential proxies (the default) — the actor rotates proxies per request to stay under the radar. Failed records are skipped individually and never stop the run, so you'll still get partial results.
Q: Why did my run stop before reaching maxItems?
Two possible reasons. The actor stops early when your Apify plan's daily/monthly event spending cap is hit (you'll see "Spending limit reached for ..." in the run log) — raise the limit in your plan settings. It also stops promptly once maxItems records are pushed, even if more matches exist. And per-item failures simply reduce the final count — check the run log for "extraction failed" warnings.
Q: I set scrapeType to "products" but got supplier records — did I do something wrong?
If you provide a company profile Start URL or a supplier search URL, the actor scrapes that page regardless of scrapeType (the schema explicitly says so). The scrape type only affects keyword search and category pages. Use scrapeType: "suppliers" with searchQueries to get supplier results exclusively, or paste a product search URL directly.
Q: What does scrapeSupplierProducts actually do — and how do I keep the run small?
For every unique company the run encounters, it opens that company's product catalog and pushes each catalog product as a separate dataset row (charging the supplier-product event per item). Combine it with maxProductsPerSupplier (e.g. 10) to cap catalog depth per company, and maxItems to cap the whole run. Note maxProductsPerSupplier: 0 means no per-company cap — only the global maxItems limit applies.
Q: Can I scrape by country, material, or price — like on the website?
Yes. countries (ships-from), supplierTypes (manufacturer/distributor/wholesaler/etc.), employeeCounts, verifiedOnly, topResponderOnly, quickResponderOnly, and category/material/color/feature facets all work with keyword search. Price ranges (minPrice/maxPrice) are applied when both are set for product search, and radiusKm + latitude/longitude enables geographic radius search around a point.
