Weibo Scraper
Get Weibo (微博) posts by keyword, by user or by link: the whole text, likes, comments, reposts, hashtags, images and video, with the author and where it was posted from. Add each post's comments and replies, users' profiles, or the hot search list (热搜榜). No login or cookies.
$4 per 1,000 posts.
What it's for
- Brand and market research: what Chinese consumers say about a brand, a product or a competitor, post by post, with the comments under them.
- Social listening: a topic's new posts on a schedule, with a period like
1 day. - KOL analysis: an account's posts and their likes, comments and reposts, before you work with it.
- Trend tracking: Weibo's hot search list with each topic's rank and heat, as often as you run it.
- Research and AI: Chinese text with dates and places, ready for sentiment, classification or RAG.
Input
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
keywords | Words to search, one per line. Chinese finds far more: 瑞幸 rather than Luckin |
userIds | Profile links (weibo.com/u/…, weibo.com/rmrb) or user IDs |
postIds | Post links (weibo.com/…/…, m.weibo.cn/detail/…) or IDs |
maxResults | Posts per keyword or user, newest first (default 100; 0 returns the users' profiles alone) |
hotSearch | Adds the hot search list as it is now |
maxComments | Comments per post, Weibo's top ones first (default 0) |
maxRepliesPerComment | Replies under each comment (default 0) |
publishedFrom, publishedTo | Days in China time, or a period like 7 days, for keywords and users |
searchType | all, hot, original (no reposts), verified or media |
includeType | all, pic, video, music or link |
Coming from another Weibo scraper? Inputs saved for the most used ones on Apify keep working (mode, searchQuery, searchDateFrom, includeComments, operation, keyword, weiboIds…), and posts keep the field names of the most used one (postId, attitudesCount, authorFollowers…).
Output
One row per post:
{"postId": "5356224494441715","postUrl": "https://weibo.com/2803301701/RnAEFiDuz","text": "【#张河清说老登也懂年轻人的奇奇怪怪#】#和年轻人玩在一起的老师真可爱#10月18日,广州大学迎新晚会…","createdAt": "2026-10-20T22:34:56+08:00","source": "微博视频号","region": null,"repostsCount": 158,"commentsCount": 199,"attitudesCount": 1310,"topics": ["张河清说老登也懂年轻人的奇奇怪怪", "和年轻人玩在一起的老师真可爱"],"images": [],"videoUrl": "https://f.video.weibocdn.com/o0/....mp4?label=mp4_720p&...","videoDuration": 28,"videoViews": 255009,"authorId": "2803301701","authorName": "人民日报","authorUrl": "https://weibo.com/u/2803301701","authorAvatar": "https://tvax4.sinaimg.cn/crop.0.0.1018.1018.1024/....jpg","authorVerified": true,"authorVerifiedReason": "《人民日报》法人微博","authorFollowers": 158115462,"isRepost": false,"repostOf": null,"isPinned": false,"input": "https://weibo.com/rmrb"}
attitudesCount is likes. region is the province or country Weibo shows for where the post was sent from. A repost carries the post it shares in repostOf, with the same fields. authorFollowers comes with users' posts and long posts; search results leave it null. Posts found by a keyword also have keyword. Video links expire within about an hour: download them right away.
Comments come after their post, each top-level one followed by its replies:
{"commentId": "5357329961719950","postId": "5357248551589726","text": "123这么过渡过去的吗 那确实好少[允悲]","createdAt": "2026-10-23T23:47:40+08:00","likeCount": 2,"replyCount": 2,"region": "广东","authorId": "1000000001","authorName": "Commenter 1","authorUrl": "https://weibo.com/u/1000000001","authorFollowers": 7,"replyToCommentId": null,"input": "https://weibo.com/7332627069/Ro1in6FyK"}
On replies, replyToCommentId is the comment that opens the thread.
With maxResults: 0, one row per user: userId, screenName, profileUrl, description, followersCount, friendsCount, statusesCount, verified, verifiedReason, gender, location, domain and avatarHd.
With hotSearch, one row per topic:
{ "rank": 1, "title": "去年全国结婚登记676万对", "hotValue": 1164999, "labelName": null, "isPromoted": false, "isPinned": false, "url": "https://s.weibo.com/weibo?q=%23...%23", "snapshotAt": "2026-10-24T19:25:26+08:00" }
labelName is Weibo's badge: 新 new, 热 hot, 沸 boiling, 爆 exploding. The pinned topic and the paid slot have no rank.
Users and links that can't be read get a row with the reason, free of charge:
{ "input": "https://weibo.com/1000000001/RnlFthCuX", "error": "Not found" }

FAQ
Do I need a Weibo account? No. It reads what Weibo shows anyone, with no login or cookies.
How far back does a search go? To any date since Weibo began. Weibo shows about 500 results per search, so the dates are split into smaller ranges to reach the posts past that. Without dates, a search starts from the newest posts.
Why does a search post have no follower count?
Weibo's post pages leave it out. Add the author to userIds with maxResults: 0 for the profile.
Is it legal? It reads only public posts and profiles. Names and comments are personal data under China's PIPL, the GDPR and similar laws: use them for a legitimate purpose and honor deletion requests.
