Frequently Asked Questions

Which notices does this cover? UK public sector procurement notices from central government, local councils, the NHS, agencies and other public bodies, across every sector. You can pull early planning notices, live and closed tenders, and awarded contracts with the winning supplier.

How many notices can I collect in one run? There is no fixed cap. The scraper pages through every match for your filters up to the Max Items you set. Use a publication-date window and a keyword to keep large runs fast and focused.

Can I filter by sector, region or value? Yes. Filter by keyword, by procurement stage (tender, award or planning), by UK region code, by CPV sector code (for example 72000000 for IT services or 45000000 for construction), and by minimum and maximum contract value. Combine filters to target a specific market.

Do I get the awarded supplier and its company number? On award-stage notices, yes: the winning supplier name, the award value and the award date, plus the UK company registration number whenever the supplier is a registered company. Some smaller suppliers are not registered companies, so the company number is left blank rather than guessed.

Why is the value or deadline empty on some notices? Not every notice discloses a value, and only open opportunities carry a submission deadline. Planning and some award notices leave these blank at the source, so the scraper returns them empty rather than guessing.

What date format and codes does the scraper expect? Dates use YYYY-MM-DD. CPV codes are the standard eight-digit sector codes entered comma-separated. Region uses UK ONS region codes such as UKI for London or UKM for Scotland.
