Extract every USDA-certified organic operation from the public USDA AMS Organic INTEGRITY Database, the registry of organic farms, processors, handlers, distributors and brokers that certifiers report to the National Organic Program. Each record carries the fields lead-generation buyers actually want: operation name, contact person, phone, email, website, certifying agent, certification status, NOP scopes, business type, full address with county, and the list of certified products, plus a derived lead score and a link to the operation's USDA profile.

No login, no cookies, no browser. The actor reads USDA's own export of all ~79,500 operations worldwide (about 37,600 in the US) and returns the ones that match your filters, usually in 10 to 30 seconds.

• countries (default ["United States"]): the INTEGRITY database is global; clear this to include every country. A value matches at the start of a word, so US, USA and United States all mean the United States.
• states: two-letter codes (CA, TX) or full names. Empty = all states.
• certificationStatuses (default ["Certified"]): Certified, Surrendered, Suspended, Revoked.
• scopes: crops, livestock, wildCrops and/or handling. With a status filter, the scope itself must hold that status: Certified + livestock returns operations currently certified for livestock, not farms whose livestock certification was surrendered.
• businessTypes: broker, distributor, copacker, marketerTrader, privateLabeler, retailer, restaurant, storage, slaughterHouse, poultry, dairy, csa, growerGroup.
• productKeywords: match certified products by item name, category or variety (e.g. ["hemp", "beef"]). A keyword matches at the start of a word, so tea finds tea and teas but not steak, and apple finds apples but not pineapple.
• counties: Fresno and Fresno County both work. Where USDA left the county blank, it is filled from the ZIP code when at least three quarters of the other USDA records in that ZIP agree, so county filters also find newly certified operations.
• nameQuery / certifierName / cities / zipCodes: extra filters.
• withEmailOnly / withPhoneOnly / withWebsiteOnly / withContactOnly: keep only operations with a valid email, a real phone number (placeholders such as 0000000000 do not count), a valid website, or either contact.
• certifiedAfter / certifiedBefore / updatedAfter: date filters (YYYY-MM-DD), great for fresh, newly certified leads. A value that is not a date stops the run before anything is billed.
• includeItems (default true) and maxItemsPerOperation (default 100): the certified-product list per operation.
• sortBy: statusEffectiveDate (default, newest first), anniversaryDate, leadScore, itemsCount, name.
• maxResults (default 1,000) and deduplicateResults: output controls. A call with no filters at all (for example an empty API call) returns a 25-record sample of the most recently certified US operations instead of 1,000 rows.

• apiKey (advanced): an optional free api.data.gov key. The actor ships with a built-in shared key (one ~24 MB download per run); a key that api.data.gov rejects is reported on the run and the shared key is used instead.

Placeholders that certifiers sometimes type in place of a value (such as N/A, --, Unknown or a ZIP of 00000) are returned as null.

Stray separators are tidied as well: a street, city, name or product typed with a trailing comma, or with ,, inside it, comes out as a clean line (3820 South Blosser Rd., Santa Maria, California 93455). Text that USDA stored encoded twice (Bieber & Sons) is decoded to Bieber & Sons, and place names typed in ALL CAPS are title-cased in any alphabet (İZMİR becomes İzmir). Filters read the same cleaned values the records print.

Monitoring: only new or changed operations

Turn on monitorMode with a monitorKey and the actor remembers every operation it has returned. On the next run with the same key it emits only operations that are new or whose certification status changed (newly certified, suspended, surrendered or revoked), ideal as a fresh-lead feed. Each row says which: monitorEvent is new, or statusChanged together with previousStatus and previousStatusEffectiveDate.

Where does the data come from? The public USDA AMS Organic INTEGRITY Database API (GetAllOperationsPublicData). The actor reads the complete operations export and joins each operation to its certified products.

How fresh is it? Each run downloads the export USDA is publishing at that moment, so certification statuses and effective dates are as current as USDA's own data.

How fast is it? Most searches finish in 10 to 30 seconds, because the actor reads the export while it downloads and only reads the product details of the operations it will return. A search that matches nothing ends in a few seconds and is not billed. The heaviest request, every operation worldwide with its full product list, takes about 2 minutes to read plus the time to save tens of thousands of rows, well inside the default 10-minute timeout.

Why do some operations have no email or phone? Not every operation lists contact details with its certifier: about 4 in 10 US certified operations have an email and about 8 in 10 a phone. Use withContactOnly to keep only reachable leads.

Why is a county marked zip? USDA leaves the county blank on most newly certified operations. When at least three quarters of the other USDA records in the same state and ZIP code name the same county, the actor fills it in and sets physicalCountySource to zip, so you can always tell a USDA county from a ZIP-based one. If those records disagree, the county stays blank rather than guessed. A ZIP code that crosses a county line can still put a farm in the neighbouring county, so treat zip counties as very likely rather than certain.

Is there a certificate link? profileUrl opens the operation's USDA INTEGRITY page. For a certified operation, its Print Certificate button produces the official certificate; surrendered, suspended and revoked operations show their profile only.
