TikTok Sounds & Music Scraper — Trending Audio by Keyword

Discover which sounds and songs are trending on TikTok for any topic, list every video that uses a sound, and pull full metadata for any TikTok sound — no login, no cookies, no TikTok account required.

What you get

Three modes in one actor:

• Sounds by keyword — search TikTok for any keyword and get the distinct sounds/songs used by the matching videos: sound ID, title, artist, album, duration, original-sound flag, commercial-music flag, total usage count (how many TikToks use it), cover art, audio play URL, sound page URL, plus how often it appeared in the search sample and the top-performing video using it.
• Videos using a sound — paste a TikTok sound URL or ID and get the videos that use it, one row per video: video URL, description, post date, play / like / comment / share / save counts, author username, name, ID and verified status, duration, cover image, and the sound it uses. Paginated so you can keep going across runs.
• Sound details — full metadata for one or more sounds: title, artist(s) with TikTok handles and verified status, album, duration, total videos using the sound, original vs. licensed music, commercial-rights flags, owner account, cover art, play URL, and creation date.
• Export to JSON, CSV, Excel, or Google Sheets directly from the Apify console

How to use

1. Pick a Mode:
   • Sounds by keyword → enter one or more Keywords (e.g. lofi beats, gym motivation). Optionally set Sort by, Date posted, and a two-letter Region code.
   • Videos using a sound or Sound details → enter one or more Sound URLs or IDs (https://www.tiktok.com/music/luther-7439295283975702544 or just 7439295283975702544).
2. Set Max items (default 50; 0 = no limit).
3. Run the actor — results appear in the Dataset tab.
4. Videos using a sound only: to fetch more videos for the same sound, open the run's Key-value store tab → copy the NEXT_PAGE_ID value → paste it into Page ID on your next run. If NEXT_PAGE_ID is null, you've fetched everything. (Page ID applies when a single sound is given.)

usageCount is TikTok's total number of videos using the sound. The sample* fields describe the videos that matched your keyword in this run: how many used the sound, their combined plays, and the best-performing one.

For original sounds (user-uploaded audio), ownerUsername / ownerName identify the creator and artists is empty; for licensed songs, artists lists the linked artist accounts.

Pricing

You pay per row returned: one sound result per sound row (Sounds by keyword and Sound details modes) and one video result per video row (Videos using a sound mode). Failed lookups and empty pages are free.

FAQ

How many sounds does one keyword return? Each search page holds ~30 videos, and the actor scans up to 10 pages per keyword, so typically 50–250 distinct sounds per keyword depending on how varied the audio is. Add more keywords to widen the net.

Why is sampleVideoCount usually 1? TikTok search returns a broad mix of videos, so most sounds appear once in the sample. Use usageCount for the platform-wide popularity of a sound; the sample* fields tell you how it performed within your keyword's results.

Can I paste a sound link copied from the TikTok app? Yes — any tiktok.com/music/<name>-<id> link works, with or without query parameters, as does the bare numeric ID.

Do cover and play URLs expire? TikTok signs its CDN URLs, so download what you need soon after the run. Sound page URLs (soundUrl) and video URLs (url) are permanent.
