Takes a long time, and it seems like it got stuck

I got stuck at 5.3K results of the 11.5k and it just continued running. I am not sure why that is. And after I abort the process I also can't get a download of the processed/handled requests.

Hi,
Google recently introduced strict limits on the number of scraping requests allowed per IP, and with a volume like 11.5k, the scraper was definitely blocked mid-run due to these restrictions. You can try using RESIDENTIAL proxies, which are much harder for Google to detect and block (see the attached screenshot for how to configure it). Alternatively, if you're using DATACENTER proxies, try selecting a different proxy group.
Also, the number of IPs you get depends on your Apify plan:
- Starter → 30 IPs
- Scale → 200 IPs
- Business → 500 IPs
Using a higher plan or more resilient proxies should allow your run to complete successfully.
One more tip: if you’re running with 32GB of memory, try lowering it to 1GB or even 512MB. You likely won’t notice a difference in speed, and it’ll save you a good amount on run costs.
And if you want to retry the same run later (e.g. 24h after the block), you can click the "Resurrect" button in the failed run to continue from where it left off.

Thanks for replying. I just initiated a new run, this time using Residential Proxies and with 1GB memory. Let's hope this will finish until completion, that would make me wake-up very happy.

Glad to hear you gave it another shot with Residential proxies and 1GB memory. How did it go?
After digging a bit deeper, here’s what I found:
- Google limits you to ~200 different domains/advertisers per IP per day. With Apify’s Starter plan, you get around 30 Datacenter proxy IPs, so you can scrape data from about ~6,000 unique domains/advertisers per day using those.
- However, as far as I know, there’s no limit on the number of ads per domain/advertiser. So for example, you could scrape 100k ads from "facebook.com" with just a single IP address and not get blocked.
