Limitations

• Seller descriptions are published on roughly 15% of products. The field is null when the seller never wrote one, which is normal and not a scrape failure.
• A broad keyword tops out around 3,850 unique products, and narrower terms yield fewer. For deeper coverage, split by category, price band or supplier country rather than raising the limit.
• There is no price sort. Alibaba does not offer one on this data. Use the price range filters instead.
• Product reviews exist only where a product has them. Otherwise you get store reviews for that seller, and every review says which it is.
• Verification reports exist only for audited suppliers. Unaudited suppliers return null for the report.
• Prices localise to the destination on the localised fields. Wherever a price exists, a US dollar figure is populated alongside the local one, whatever currency you pick.
