What does AliExpress Reviews Scraper do?

AliExpress Reviews Scraper turns any AliExpress product URL or product ID into a clean table of customer reviews: star rating, review text, translation, ISO date, buyer country, the variant the buyer ordered, buyer photos, seller reply, follow-up review and helpful votes. Every row also carries the product's total review count and average rating, so one export answers both "what do buyers say" and "how is this product rated overall".

It works like an AliExpress reviews API without a key, login or browser: plain HTTP requests to the same feedback data the product page loads, 100 reviews per request. That keeps it fast and cheap: $1.50 per 1,000 reviews, and products with no reviews or pages that fail are free.

Turn on Only new reviews and schedule it, and it becomes a review monitor: each run returns only the reviews it has not returned before.

How to scrape reviews from AliExpress

1. Click Try for free.
2. Paste one or more AliExpress product URLs (any country site or mobile link) or bare product IDs.
3. Set Max reviews per product (0 = all).
4. Optionally pick a filter (with photos, with follow-up, or one star rating) and a translation language.
5. For monitoring, switch on Only new reviews and schedule the run daily or weekly.
6. Click Start and download the reviews as JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML.

How much does it cost to scrape AliExpress reviews?

You pay $1.50 per 1,000 reviews ($0.0015 per review) plus a $0.00005 run start fee. Proxy is included.

Free: products with no reviews, product IDs that do not exist, inputs that are not AliExpress product links, pages that fail after retries, and (with Only new reviews) reviews you already received. Each of those gives an error row or is skipped, never a charge.

Example: 20 products x 200 reviews = 4,000 reviews = $6.00. On the Apify free plan, the $5 monthly credit covers about 3,000 reviews. Set Max reviews in total or a maximum cost per run, and the Actor stops as soon as it is reached.

Tips

• Dates are ISO. AliExpress prints dates like 24 May 2026 (or 29 janv. 2026 in French); the Actor converts them to 2026-05-24 in every supported language and keeps the original in dateText.
• Cheap monitoring checks. Once a check has read a product's whole review list, the next run compares the review count first: if it has not grown, the Actor reads one page and moves on, and if it has grown by 3, it stops after finding those 3.
• Monitoring several jobs? Give each scheduled task its own Monitoring state store name, so one job's seen reviews do not hide reviews from another.
• Order. AliExpress returns reviews in its default "recommended" order; the endpoint has no newest-first sort, so Only new reviews checks every page up to your limit. Use date to sort the export.
• Shopper country only moves reviews from that country to the top; it never removes others.
• Similar-item reviews. For some products AliExpress mixes in reviews from other sellers of the same item; those rows have purchasedFromThisSeller: false.

FAQ

Do I need an AliExpress account, cookies or an API key?

No. The Actor reads only the public review data that AliExpress shows to every visitor.

How many reviews can I get per product?

AliExpress serves at most 5,000 reviews per product for one filter. For bigger products the Actor then continues star rating by star rating, which reaches far more (12,952 of a 15,884-review product in our test). Below 5,000, you get every review. Each request returns 100 reviews and takes about 3 seconds, so 5,000 reviews take about 3 minutes and a 15,000-review product 15 to 20 minutes; up to 3 products run in parallel.

Which product links work?

aliexpress.com, aliexpress.us, aliexpress.ru and country subdomains, mobile m. links, /item/ and /i/ URLs and bare product IDs.

Can I get only negative reviews?

Yes. Set Filter to 1 star or 2 stars (one rating per run; add the product twice in two tasks for both).

Why are buyer names like m***f?

AliExpress masks buyer names itself. Anonymous buyers show as AliExpress Shopper with anonymous: true.

What happens when a page fails?

Every request is retried several times on new IP addresses (with a residential IP as the last resort), with backoff on rate limits. If a page still fails you get a free error row and the reviews collected so far stay in the dataset. If 6 pages in a row fail, the run stops and each product it did not reach gets a free error row, so you can rerun just those later.
