Give your AI agent the ability to verify a UK company against the official register and screen names against US, EU and UN sanctions lists — so due-diligence questions get answered from primary sources.

Every response includes a source and a link to the official record.

What it answers

  • "Is this company real, and is it still active?"
  • "Who are the directors, and who actually controls it?"
  • "Does it have secured debts against its assets?"
  • "Are its accounts overdue, or does it have insolvency history?"
  • "Does this name appear on any sanctions list?"

Built to be read correctly

Due diligence is exactly where a confidently wrong answer does damage, so this server returns the caveats with the data:

  • Sanctions results carry an explicit warning. A match means a similarly named listed entity, not the same party — and no matches does not clear anyone. The screen covers three lists and matches names, not identities. That caveat is part of every response.
  • Aliases are indexed, not just primary names. Screening only on primary names is how real matches get missed.
  • Empty beneficial-ownership results are explained. No listed owners usually means control runs through a parent company, or the statement was not filed. It does not mean nobody controls the company, and the response says so.

Why the data is trustworthy

Company data comes from Companies House, the UK's statutory register, via its official API. Sanctions data comes from the published US OFAC SDN, EU Financial Sanctions and UN Security Council consolidated lists, refreshed daily.

Only the month and year of an officer's birth are returned — that is all Companies House publishes.

Limits and honesty

  • UK companies only. No coverage of other registers.
  • Sanctions screening covers US, EU and UN lists. It is not a complete global screen and does not include PEP or adverse-media checks.
  • This is a screening aid, not a compliance determination. Regulated firms must verify matches against the official lists and follow their own obligations.
