You should be able to scrape all media elements
You can scrape all posts available on Reddit website. Reddit itself limits that to around 1000 posts sometimes so it depends on the subreddit you are working with. The actor does not have a limit.
The actor does not working with logged user so you cannot scrape your newsfeed
If the posts from 2021 are present on the subreddit you should be able to scrape them with no issue
