Kariera.gr Scraper: Greek jobs with posted pay
Scrape Kariera.gr, a Greek job board, by category, words, contract, seniority or posted pay only, newest first: title, employer with its Kariera.gr page and logo, town and region, posted pay in EUR with its period and whether it is gross or net, contract, seniority, remote or hybrid, publish and end dates, the apply link and the full description. Export to CSV, Excel or JSON, or use the API.
USD 0.69 per 1,000 jobs. No login, no browser.
What you get
- Pay with its currency, period and basis. The job page gives the pay with its currency; the page text says
"μικτά" (gross) or "καθαρά" (net), kept in
extra.salaryBasis. "2.500-3.000 ανά μήνα μικτά" becomes 2,500 to 3,000 EUR per MONTH, gross. Only some employers post a pay: 375 of 6,219 jobs on 18 Oct 2026, 4 of the first 20 IT jobs in our test. Switch on Jobs with a posted salary only to get just those (the site's own filter). - Fields that are only in the list data: seniority (no experience, junior, mid level, senior, executive), remote
vs hybrid vs temporarily remote (
extra.temporarilyRemote), the employer's size and industry. - Newest first: the list is sorted by publish date, so with "Only new jobs" on a scheduled run stops at the first page with nothing new. The publish date is the site's own, which changes when an employer renews an ad.
- Your words matched on every job. Kariera.gr's server ignores its keyword parameter (its browser search runs through a path closed to robots), so the Actor matches your words itself on the title, employer and short summary (accents and case ignored; a job matches when it has every word of one line).
- Kariera.gr's filters as input: category, contract, seniority, posted pay only, or pasted list URLs.
Input examples
{ "category": "it-jobs", "maxJobs": 200 }
Developer jobs with a posted salary, new ones only (daily schedule):
{ "keywords": ["developer"], "salaryOnly": true, "onlyNewJobs": true }
Example row
From a saved Kariera.gr list and job page (empty fields left out, description shortened):
{"jobId": "354058","title": "Υπεύθυνη Τμήματος Κρατήσεων / Reservations Manager","company": "AFITIS BOUTIQUE HOTEL","companyUrl": "https://www.kariera.gr/companies/afitis-boutique-hotel","companyLogoUrl": "https://employerfilesprod.blob.core.windows.net/useruploads/1081583/company/39419/img-1792263086530","location": "Κασσάνδρα, Κεντρική Μακεδονία","city": "Κασσάνδρα","region": "Κεντρική Μακεδονία","country": "GR","remote": false,"workplaceType": "hybrid","salaryMin": 2500,"salaryMax": 3000,"salaryCurrency": "EUR","salaryPeriod": "MONTH","salaryText": "2.500-3.000 ανά μήνα μικτά","employmentType": "FULL_TIME","experienceLevel": "Senior","category": "TOURISM","datePosted": "2026-10-17T19:28:14.193Z","validThrough": "2026-11-16T19:28:14.193Z","descriptionText": "- Αντίστοιχη προϋπηρεσία σε ξενοδοχεία πολυτελείας\n\n- Άριστη γνώση της Αγγλικής γλώσσας σε προφορικό και γραπτό λόγο\n\n- Γνώση και ...","jobUrl": "https://www.kariera.gr/jobs/tourism-jobs/354058","sourceBoard": "Kariera.gr","duplicateKey": "6474c7c4153a6d1b","extra": {"employerSize": "MEDIUM","employerIndustry": "HOSPITALITY","salaryBasis": "gross","directApply": true}}
Good to know
- Words are matched on the title, employer and a summary of about 200 characters, not on the whole description. A job that names your word only deep in its text is not found. A rare word on the whole list reads many list pages (50 jobs and about 1.8 MB each) for few saved jobs, and the run may stop early to stay within what it has earned: pick a category to narrow it.
- The currency is on the job page only. With job pages off, the pay range and period come from the list, with no currency and no gross or net; they are left that way, never guessed.
- The contract and seniority filters are passed to the site as it links them; in our tests only the category and the posted-pay filter were checked one by one.
- Kariera.gr is slow to answer (a list page can take 15 to 25 s on the first request). 1,000 jobs with job pages take about 45 minutes (2.6 s a job in our platform test). A list-only run reads one page per 50 jobs.
- Not given: postal code, an apply form (only the employer's own apply link, 13 of 20 jobs in our test), and the employer's name on confidential ads (2 of 20). A job with remote work switched off is not marked "on site", because the site does not say so.
Who uses it
- Recruiters and staffing agencies in Greece: new jobs by category, contract and seniority every day.
- Pay research: posted pay in EUR with its period and gross or net, by category and seniority.
Output: one row per job
Every Actor in this family writes the same columns, so you can merge boards in one sheet or database.
| Field | What it holds |
|---|---|
jobId | The board's own job id |
title, company | Job title and hiring company (as the board shows them) |
companyUrl, companyLogoUrl | Company page and logo on the board, when given |
location, city, region, postalCode, country | Location as shown, and its parts; country is an ISO code (FR, DE, US...) |
remote, workplaceType | true/false and remote, hybrid or onsite, only when the board says so |
salaryMin, salaryMax, salaryCurrency, salaryPeriod, salaryText | Salary range as numbers, ISO currency, HOUR/DAY/WEEK/MONTH/YEAR; empty when the board gives none (never guessed) |
employmentType, employmentTypeText | FULL_TIME, PART_TIME, TEMPORARY, INTERN, APPRENTICE, CONTRACTOR, FREELANCE..., and the board's own wording |
experienceLevel, category, skills | When the board gives them |
datePosted, validThrough | ISO 8601 dates |
descriptionText, descriptionHtml | Full description as plain text and as HTML |
applyUrl, jobUrl | Where to apply, and the job's page on the board |
sourceBoard, searchLabel, scrapedAt | Which board, which of your searches found it, when |
duplicateKey | The same key for the same ad posted on several boards (or reposted): title without (m/w/d) or H/F tags, company without legal form, city, country. Use it to merge results from several of our board Actors |
extra | A few fields only this board has |
Contact email addresses and phone numbers inside descriptions are removed: this Actor never collects recruiters' personal contact details.
Job alerts: only new jobs, sent where you work
- Switch on Only new jobs since the last run and schedule the Actor (daily, hourly). It remembers the jobs it has already delivered for the same searches and filters, in a key-value store on your own account (named job-boards-seen-
- Paste a Slack or Discord webhook (or a Zapier or Make webhook, which can email you) into Send new jobs to. After each run that found new jobs you get one message with the count and up to 10 jobs with their links. Free: the message is never billed.
Apify's own integrations (Google Sheets, email, webhooks) work too.
Pricing
Pay per job saved: USD 0.69 per 1,000 jobs (USD 0.00069 a job), plus USD 0.002 per run start. No monthly rental, no charge for jobs skipped as duplicates, already seen or filtered out. Set a maximum cost per run in Apify and the Actor stops just before it, keeping everything saved so far.
Use it through the API
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/usefulapi~kariera-gr-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=YOUR_API_TOKEN" \-H "Content-Type: application/json" \-d '{"keywords":["developer"],"category":"it-jobs","maxJobs":20}'
Python: ApifyClient("YOUR_API_TOKEN").actor("usefulapi/kariera-gr-scraper").call(run_input={...}), then read the dataset items.
Good to know
- Polite by design: one request at a time per site with a pause between requests, and the site's robots.txt is followed. Runs read public job pages only: no login, no candidate profiles or CVs.
- What a run summary tells you: the
OUTPUTrecord has jobs saved per search, jobs skipped (duplicates, seen before, too old) and why a run stopped early, if it did. - Is it legal? The Actor reads job ads that the board publishes openly, the same pages a job seeker sees. You are responsible for how you use the data (for example, the board's terms and data protection rules in your country).
