Google Ads Transparency Scraper: Ad Copy, Landing Pages & Videos

See every Google ad a competitor runs, including the actual words: headline, description, call to action, landing page URL and YouTube video, plus first and last shown dates, from Google's public Ads Transparency Center. No login, no Google Ads account.

Built for paid-search and media buyers, agencies doing competitor audits, marketers collecting ad-copy ideas, and analysts tracking how long competitors keep an ad running.

Why this scraper

Most Ads Transparency scrapers return IDs, dates and a preview link, which is mostly metadata. This one returns the ad content:

  • Video and display ads: the headline, description, long headline and call to action exactly as the advertiser wrote them, plus the landing page URL and the YouTube video link.
  • Search (text) ads: Google stores many of these only as a picture. This scraper reads the text from the picture (OCR), so you still get the headline, description and display URL as text you can sort and search. The copySource field tells you whether the copy came from the ad's own data or from OCR.
  • Finds advertisers by domain, name or ID. If a brand name matches no ads in your country, it automatically tries the brand's .com domain. The matchedBy field shows how each ad was found.
  • Stable on large jobs: paced requests with automatic retries, and every ad pushed as soon as it is read.

Guide

Walkthrough with a real example: How to see every Google ad a competitor runs (with the actual ad copy and landing pages).

How to use

  1. Enter domains (hubspot.com), advertiser names (Nike) or advertiser IDs (AR...), one per line. Domains give the most complete results.
  2. Pick a country (US, GB, IN, ES...) or leave it empty for all countries.
  3. Optionally filter by ad format or shown after a date, and set max ads per query (most recent first).
  4. Run it. Export to CSV, Excel or JSON, or send the results to Google Sheets, Make, Zapier or n8n.

Pricing

Pay per ad returned. Queries that find no ads are free. Set a maximum cost per run in the run options to cap spending.

Notes and limits

  • OCR reads English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese well. Ads in other scripts (Japanese, Korean...) are returned with their image but the OCR text may be unreliable.
  • Some ads have no copy in Google's archive (for example some HTML5 display ads). They are still returned with dates, format and links.
  • Data comes from the public Google Ads Transparency Center. This actor is not affiliated with Google. Use the data in line with the laws that apply to you.
