EURES Scraper: EU Job Vacancies, 30 Countries

Extract live job vacancies from EURES, the European Union's official job mobility portal, by reading its own public search API directly: title, employer, country, region, work schedule, publication date and ESCO occupation codes, across Germany, France, the Netherlands, Spain and roughly 27 more EU/EEA countries in one run. No login, no browser, no proxy.

At a glance

What you getEURES job vacancies: title, employer, country, region, work schedule, employment type, publication date, ESCO occupation codes.
Price$1.20 per 1,000 postings: a 50-posting test run costs about $0.07, start fee included.
Speed50 postings in well under a minute. No login, no proxy, no browser to configure.
Try itClick Try for free: the form is already filled with keyword nurse.
Keep it freshSchedule it daily and keep only the new postings: see "Monitor new postings daily" below.

What you can do with it

  • Cover a whole region in one run: pick any mix of the ~30 EU/EEA countries EURES publishes for, instead of running a separate actor per country.
  • Track cross-border recruitment: a vacancy open to several countries at once (common on EURES) keeps every country it lists.
  • Monitor a trade or a sector: filter by keyword (job title or trade, e.g. "nurse", "welder", "developer") across the whole network.
  • Feed a job board or an alert: schedule it daily with "Only new results" ticked and only pay for postings you have not already seen.

Input

FieldWhat it does
KeywordJob title or trade, for example nurse or developer. Matched by EURES's own search. Empty means every posting.
CountriesISO country codes to collect, for example ["de", "fr", "es"]. Empty means the default sample of 5 (Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain).
Published within daysOnly postings published within this many days. Empty means no date filter.
Maximum number of postingsThe run stops once this many postings are saved, spread across the countries asked for.
Include full descriptionsOff by default (EURES's own answer is already heavy). Turn on to get the full job description text.
Only new resultsFor scheduled runs: skip postings an earlier run of the same search already delivered.

Why this one

  • One actor, ~30 countries. The EU's own network, not a single national job board: pick any mix of countries in one run instead of stitching several national actors together.
  • No browser, no proxy, fast. EURES's own public search API is read directly over plain HTTP, so there is nothing to configure and no residential proxy cost baked into the price.
  • Cross-border vacancies kept whole. A posting open to several countries at once keeps every one of them (locationCountries), instead of being arbitrarily assigned to just one.

Good to know

  • EURES carries no salary field and no employer-set expiry date at all for any country: salaryMin/salaryMax and validThrough are always null, never guessed.
  • occupationCodes are the site's own ESCO occupation URIs, kept as-is rather than resolved to a label.
  • This actor respects europa.eu/robots.txt's site-wide Crawl-delay: 10: every request it makes is at least 10 seconds apart, which is why a run of more than ~50 postings takes noticeably longer than a single page.
  • Employer names are the business's own public name (sometimes including the owner's name for a sole proprietorship, as published by the national employment agency). Any named individual recruiter, e-mail or phone number inside a free-text description is stripped before saving.

Pricing

Pay per result: $1.20 per 1,000 postings, plus $0.01 per run start with the default memory. For example, 100 postings cost about $0.13. You only pay for the postings you receive. Store discounts apply automatically on paid Apify plans: up to 20% off every event on the higher tiers.

Run it from your code

JavaScript:

import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
const client = new ApifyClient({ token: process.env.APIFY_TOKEN });
const run = await client.actor('bibian/eures-jobs-scraper').call({
keyword: 'nurse',
countries: ['de', 'fr'],
maxItems: 50,
});
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();

Python:

from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient(token="<APIFY_TOKEN>")
run = client.actor("bibian/eures-jobs-scraper").call(run_input={
"keyword": "nurse",
"countries": ["de", "fr"],
"maxItems": 50
})
items = client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).list_items().items

Monitor new postings daily and connect your tools

  1. Schedule it. Save a task, pick your countries and keyword, and schedule it daily with Apify Schedules. Tick Only new results and each run returns, and charges, only the postings earlier runs of the same search did not deliver.
  2. Push the results where you work. Add an Apify integration or a webhook to the task: Google Sheets, Slack, Make, Zapier, n8n or your own endpoint.
  3. Call it from your stack. The API and the JavaScript and Python clients return the dataset as JSON, CSV or Excel.
  4. Let an AI agent use it. Through the Apify MCP server, assistants such as Claude or ChatGPT can search the Store, read this page and run the actor as a tool.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account, cookies or a proxy for EURES? No. The actor reads EURES's own public search API directly.

Which countries are covered? Any mix of the roughly 30 EU/EEA countries EURES publishes for (checked 27/10/2026): Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Czechia, Spain, Poland, Finland, Norway, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, Italy, Latvia, Slovenia, Cyprus, Luxembourg, Malta, Estonia, Ireland, Denmark, Hungary, Portugal, Greece, Liechtenstein, Lithuania and Iceland.

Which formats can I export? JSON, CSV, Excel, XML, HTML table or RSS, from the dataset page or through the API.

Is it legal to scrape? The actor collects publicly visible postings and respects the robots.txt rules of the site, including its crawl-delay. How you use the data is your responsibility: check the site's terms and the laws that apply to you, for example the GDPR.

Something does not work? Open an issue in the Issues tab. Every public actor is test-run daily and the broken ones are repaired.

Did this save you time? A short review on the Store page helps other people find the actor, and tells me what to improve next.
