also doesn't seem to be fllowing my params of max results 5

Thank you for your comment. It seems that the parameter intended to limit the maximum number of results isn’t functioning as expected. I'm actively investigating the issue and working on a fix.
Also, regarding the scraper: I just learned that LinkedIn’s public API limits the number of job postings you can retrieve to a maximum of 1,000 per search. So for each URL or keyword provided, the most I can scrape is 1,000 job listings.
Apologies for the inconvenience.

Yes that is fine. Would that issue be linked to not receiving any output as well? A big reason I wanted to try yours was because you included hiring team in your output object which is very important to me as I am in the staffing industry and I want to set up automations to message those hiring managers.

Thanks for the clarification! The empty output is likely due to the issue with the max number of items to scrape—it's not functioning properly at the moment. I just released a new version of the scraper that limits the scraping to a maximum of 1,000 jobs per URL, so I recommend running it without the parameter that limits the number of items.
Regarding "hiring teams," could you clarify what you mean? Are you referring to details like the company name and URL?
alandwerlen
No I was referring to this:
"posterFullName": "Aamir Khan", "posterProfileUrl": "https://ca.linkedin.com/in/aamirkhan-4u",

I'd prefer to wait until you are able to limit as I don't want to scrape that many. Will you be fixing it so we can put a smaller limit soon?

Right now, the Max Item parameter controls the number of requests the web scraper makes (approximatively). This effectively sets a cap on how many records can be retrieved. While it doesn't guarantee that you'll get exactly that number of items, it does ensure you won't exceed it.
For example, if you set a limit of 2,000 jobs, the scraper will never return more than 2,000. In practice, you'll likely end up with fewer than the set limit.
I’ll try to update the Max Item behavior in the coming days so that it sets a hard limit on the number of records stored, rather than the number of requests made. However, I can’t give an exact date for when this change will be completed.

Could you add something to the query that only returns jobs where the below is not "" or null?
1"posterFullName": "", 2"posterProfileUrl": "",
