Analyze customer review text you supply for pricing, support, reliability and cancellation complaints. Keep the original review and any supplied source URL in every result.
This Actor does not scrape Trustpilot or G2. Import review records from your authorized exports or collection workflow. It does not generate reviews, invent reviewers or establish whether someone intends to buy or switch products.
Quick start
Paste review objects into reviews, set the maximum rating to include, run the Actor and export the dataset.
This is illustrative input, not a collected customer review:
{"maxStarRating": 3,"reviews": [{"competitor": "ExampleCo","platform": "Illustrative example, not a collected review","rating": 2,"title": "Example support complaint","body": "Support did not respond to my ticket.","sourceUrl": "","date": ""}]}
Replace the example with actual review text. Each review requires a nonempty body and an integer rating from 1 to 5. Competitor, platform, title, author, date and source URL are optional. Missing identities and dates are not invented.
Output and interpretation
Each matching review produces its original text, rating, competitor, complaint themes, rule-based severity score and a suggested research angle. Topics use explicit keyword rules for pricing, support, bugs/performance and cancellation. The score is a prioritization heuristic, not a churn prediction.
Suggested angles must be checked against your actual product and service capabilities. The Actor does not manufacture uptime, response-time guarantees or verified leads.
Pricing and free sample
Standard price: $0.005 per analyzed review ($5 per 1,000). Reviews above maxStarRating are filtered before billing. No custom startup event is charged by this implementation. The Pricing tab remains authoritative.
Every Apify plan, including Free, analyzes full batches within the 5,000-record input limit and the run spending limit. The Actor stops at the budget and surfaces billing errors.
Use cases
- Group recurring support or pricing complaints for product planning.
- Compare documented competitor pain points with your own capabilities.
- Prepare evidence-linked research for human review.
This tool analyzes supplied text; it does not verify that a review is authentic or that a reviewer is a decision maker.
Migration note
The earlier competitor-domain-only input is no longer sufficient. Supply real records in reviews. No synthetic complaint is produced when data is missing.

FAQ
Does it scrape the data itself? No. It analyzes records you supply (pasted JSON or another Apify dataset), so you stay in control of where the data comes from. Pair it with a collector Actor or your own export.
What complaints does it detect? Pricing, support, reliability/bugs and cancellation themes, using explicit keyword rules. Each result keeps the original review text so you can check it.
How much does it cost? $5 per 1,000 analyzed reviews. Reviews above your star-rating filter are dropped before billing.
Can I run it through the API or on a schedule? Yes. Save your input as a task, schedule it in Apify Console, or call it from the Apify API. Results export as JSON, CSV or Excel and connect to Google Sheets, Slack, Make, Zapier or a webhook.
