Tip: schedule a weekly run with your subcontractor list to catch cancellations early.

Good to know
- Insurance carriers have up to 21 days to report new policies and changes to the state, so very recent changes may not appear yet.
- Name searches match names that contain your text. Use FEINs for precise results.
- A sole proprietor or officer exemption does not cover employees. Florida law still requires coverage for workers.
- This tool reads public records. It is not affiliated with the State of Florida and does not replace the official proof of coverage, the policy itself or advice from your insurance professional. Always confirm critical decisions with the carrier or the official portal.
- Requests are sent one at a time with a pause, to keep the load on the state portal low.
