Limit items number to speed up process

Hello, is it possible to add a new field in the input to limit the number of items returned instead of using the depth in order to speed up the response times?
If not, can this be a custom request?

Thanks so much for getting back to me. Will the custom scraper be a self-hosted solution once ready?
My goal is to speed things up as much as possible and retrieve results within 5-8 seconds which might be doable if we don't have to spin a new docker instance when the Apify API is called. However, you are the expert here.

The custom scraper needs to use proxies as well. You can run it in your own server but still you'll need Apify's proxy or some other provider's. Tiktok has pretty strong anti-bot. And that's the bottleneck if you want to get results fast. With regards to the timeframe, I'd say as soon as possible. I'd prefer project-based but I would still need some support for when TT or IG change the HTML or JSON which requires the scraper to be fixed.
