This actor gives you every business entity added to Florida's official corporate register each business day, straight from the Florida Department of State, Division of Corporations (Sunbiz). Each run reads the State's own daily corporate data file — the same fixed-width file the Division publishes for bulk users — and turns each row into a clean record: entity name, Florida document number, filing type (Florida LLC, Florida corporation, foreign LLC, non-profit, limited partnership and more), active/inactive status, formation file date, Federal Employer Identification Number (when filed), principal and mailing addresses, the last filing date, annual reports on file, and the registered agent when that agent is a company.

A typical business day holds about 2,100–2,600 records (measured on the files for 21–25 September 2026: 2,272, 2,341, 2,604, 2,421 and 2,168). The State keeps the daily files on its server going back more than five years (1,383 files available on 26 September 2026), so you can pull yesterday's new filings or any past day or date range.

Values are delivered as the State publishes them, trimmed of padding; dates are converted to ISO format.

Cost guidance

One business day is roughly 2,100–2,600 records, so a full day costs about $105–$130 on the Free plan and about $70–$87 on Gold. Most buyers filter: in the files checked, about 82% of new entities were Florida LLCs, and a single metro area's LLCs over a week is typically a few hundred to a couple of thousand records. How a run works

The actor connects to the State's data server (sftp.floridados.gov) with the public login the Division prints on its data-downloads page, lists the daily corporate files, reads the ones you asked for, and checks every row is the documented 1,440 characters. Each row is parsed by the State's own published field positions. Records are pushed to your dataset first and charged only after they are delivered. If you set a maximum charge for the run, the actor stops cleanly as soon as it is reached. Every run saves a receipt (RUN_RECEIPT in the key-value store) with rows read, matched and delivered per file, and confirmation that charges equal deliveries. If the State's server cannot be reached after several retries, the run ends with a clear message and nothing is charged.

Honest limitations

• No officer names, and no individual registered agents. The State's file lists up to six officers and a registered agent, who are often private individuals. This actor never delivers officer names or addresses, and delivers the registered agent only when the State marks it as a company (for example a registered-agent service). You still get how many officers are listed.
• Addresses are the entity's own. Principal and mailing addresses are delivered as filed. For a one-person business this can be a home address; they are part of the State's public entity record.
• A new-filings feed, not a change log. Each daily file holds the records added that day. The State notes that "data for addresses and listed officers may not reflect the most current information on sunbiz.org because of the limited space in the file."
• FEI numbers are sparse — most new entities file without one (21 of 500 in one sample).
• Some fields can be blank where the filer left them blank (for example a foreign entity's principal state).
• The State provides the files as-is and warns that an occasional row may be malformed; such rows are skipped and reported in the run's status message rather than guessed.
