ConsumerFinance.gov Rules Text Extraction Tool

This tool is designed to extract text from ConsumerFinance.gov rules using Playwright and Node.js.

Prerequisites

• Node.js version 20 (current LTS version)
• npm

Installation

1. Clone this repository.
2. Run npm install to install dependencies.
3. If encountering any browser errors, run npx install playwright.

Usage

Windows

• Run start.bat.

Mac

• Run start.sh.

Manual Execution

• To manually run the tool, use node ./src/main.js or npm start.

Customization

• Modify the startUrls in the src/main.js file to change the URLs to extract text from.
