From the second run on, exactly which roles are new and which have closed — because each board returns every open role at once, this is an exact difference, not a sample.

**Measured, not estimated:** about **$0.0025 per 1,000 roles** of Apify platform usage at 512 MB, ~21 roles/s (1551 roles in 72 s, 2026-10-06). That is our own running cost — already included in the per-role price; nothing is billed on top.

Why these companies

We tested about 110 well-known Y Combinator companies against the public Greenhouse, Ashby and Lever job-board APIs and kept the 62 whose board returned open roles — and dropped any board we could not tie to the YC company (several YC names share a board name with an unrelated company). No aggregator re-posts, no expired listings: every row is live on the employer's own board.

Output

Every row has company, title, department, team, location, locations, remote, employmentType, salaryMin, salaryMax, salaryCurrency, salaryInterval, postedAt, isNewSinceLastRun, jobUrl, applyUrl (and description if you turn it on). Missing values are null, never guessed.

Closed roles come back as type: "closed" rows, and each company gets one free type: "company" row (openRoles, newRoles, closedRoles, netChange) — a hiring tracker for free. A company that has moved off its board comes back as an error row and the run carries on.

Filters on every run (10/2026): posted within the last N days, experience level (read from the title: intern → executive, also returned as a seniority column) and employment type. They only narrow what is returned — no extra requests, no extra cost.
