Export Bazaarvoice reviews, ratings, questions and answers from any retailer or brand product page that uses Bazaarvoice (for example CeraVe, KitchenAid, B&Q and TradePoint). The Bazaarvoice Reviews & Q&A Scraper tells you which reviews were written on the site and which were syndicated from elsewhere, which ones are incentivized, and what product each review was written for. • Full review data: rating, title, text, recommendation, sub-ratings, reviewer context (skin type, age, gender…), badges, photos, helpful and not-helpful votes, brand responses, submitted and updated dates, and language.
• Questions and answers: every question with all of its answers nested inside, including brand answers and best-answer flags. Busy threads are paged in full.
• Syndication you can trust: isSyndicated, the syndication source name and link, and the client the review came from, on every row. The "Written on this site only" filter checks each row's own flag, so you get the real native reviews rather than an inflated count.
• Product scope: related products (sizes, colour or country variants) often share one review pool. Each row carries recordProductId, recordProductName and isRequestedProduct, so you can see which reviews describe the exact product you asked for.
• Coverage summary (free): for each URL, the run's SUMMARY record lists the product, the review and question totals, the average rating, the count shown on the page, any other review pool with a different total, and why collection stopped (complete, capped or filtered).
• No double charges: products that share a review pool on the same site are deduplicated within a run, so each review is charged once.
• Filters: star ratings, a "newer than" date, and the review origin. Results come newest first.

🛠️ How It Works

1. Paste product URLs: any product page that shows Bazaarvoice reviews, up to 100 per run.
2. Choose what to collect: reviews, questions, or both, and set a maximum per product (50 by default).
3. Run the scraper: rows land in the dataset, and the per-URL coverage report is in the SUMMARY record.

Pages that are not Bazaarvoice sites, or that can't be loaded, are listed in the run's status message and the summary, and never charged. If none of the URLs can be collected, the run fails with the reason and the URLs.

Coverage summaries, duplicates, filtered-out reviews and pages without reviews are free. If you set a maximum charge for the run, the scraper stops when it is reached.

A syndicated review carries its source, for example "syndicationSource": { "name": "boots.com", "url": "https://www.boots.com/…" } with "sourceClient": "boots" on a CeraVe review first written on Boots. "Syndicated" is relative to the site showing it: a review written on the brand's site is native there and syndicated on a retailer. recordProductName is the product name as it was when the review was written, which can be a specific size or variant. Reviewer nicknames and locations are left out unless you turn on Include reviewer names.

❓ Bazaarvoice Reviews FAQ

Does Bazaarvoice have an official API? Yes. Bazaarvoice offers APIs to its clients and approved partners, with keys issued to the brand or retailer that runs the reviews. If you are researching someone else's products, you usually don't have a key. This Actor needs no key or approval: paste the product page URL and it returns the reviews and Q&A shoppers see, with syndication source, incentivized flags and product scope on every row.

Do I need an account or login? No. Only public product pages are used.

Why does a row say isRequestedProduct: false? The page shows content from a group of related products, for example the US and Canadian versions of the KitchenAid Pro Line blender. The row is still part of what shoppers see on that page, and recordProductId tells you which product it was written for.

How do I find incentivized reviews? Filter on isIncentivized: true. It is set when the review carries the incentivized badge or the review is marked as incentivized. badges lists every badge, such as verifiedPurchaser.

The summary says unverified. Is something wrong? No. It means the page shows no review count to check against. verified means the total matches the count on the page. mismatch means it does not, and the summary lists both numbers.

Why are some fields empty? Fields such as secondaryRatings, reviewerContext, photos, videos, pros, cons, brandResponses and a question's questionDetails are only filled when the site collects them, and most sites don't ask for pros, cons or videos. isRatingsOnly is true only for star ratings submitted without text. productBrand comes from the review catalog, or from the product page when the catalog has no brand. A review with no photos has an empty list, and a review without a source has syndicationSource: null.

Are there limits? Up to 100 product URLs per run and up to 30,000 reviews or questions per product (higher maximums stop there, and the run's status message names the products that hit the limit). Language and region follow the site's own review widget, so a UK site returns the reviews it shows to UK shoppers.
